Gostou The view was amazing, combined with easy access to the coast path and the beaches that allows access to. For the price, the facilities were decent (well kept but visibly a bit tired), and it is evident that improvements are being made year on year. I look forward to seeing how Bay View progresses and improves with the years to come! Alice, the host, is very welcoming, accommodating, and easily contactable. She provided some recommendations of local eateries and beaches, and had solid advice on pitch choice with the weather.

Gostou Very basic facilities, but that’s expected with a “wild” camping place. The toilet was clean and well kept, and the ground relatively comfortable. The campsite was quiet, which we enjoyed, and the horses in the neighbouring field friendly and also chill. Several chairs and a chimnea are provided on site, useable on a first come first serve basis.
