Gostou Everything about this site is good. The fact that you can access the village as many times as you like, you can use the outdoor heated pool, the woodland walks are amazing and the facilities on site perfect. The shower is powerful hot and not on a timer.

Não gostou The only small criticism would be that the site is all gravel which does trail in the van and not the prettiest site but it is in the village so what more could you want.

Gostou Everything about the site is lovely. Very peaceful largely due to the time of year well maintained with excellent amenities on site. Easy access on foot to the coast path and beach.

Não gostou If I had to nitpick the price for the washer was a little high at £6 otherwise I can’t fault it

Gostou We absolutely loved our stay. The site is beautiful very peaceful and well maintained and the disused airfield is the added bonus for evening walks and nature watching. The showers are hot which isn’t often what we expect when camping and spotlessly clean. We will definitely be back again.

Não gostou There is nothing for children which can put some people off but for us this was what we wanted as we were looking for peace and quiet. WiFi wasn’t great but was nice to be off grid.

Gostou Such a well kept site and in terms of facilities they had thought of everything. The shower and toilet block was clean and has ample space with hooks for clothes and towels a plenty. There was a communal lounge area with seating entertainment and games plus a kitchen which included a fridge and freezer, microwave and complimentary tea and coffee, there was even a washing machine.

Não gostou The weather but there’s nothing we can do about the great British summertime 😄

Gostou The food in the pub was good I am pleased that we booked both nights as it seemed the staff were overwhelmed despite it not actually appearing that busy. The location is a good one for the nearby dales and reservoir with plenty of walk to hand.

Não gostou The site itself is neglected. The grass was overgrown around most pitches except ours. The toilets were reminiscent of festival toilets they were never cleaned while we were there the bin was overflowing and there was no hot water in the ladies or the pot washing area. I reported the water but no one attended to it. It’s a pity as with a little attention it could be a great site,
