Gostou Absolutely loved this place. Easy access to a lighthouse, bird reserve, TWO pubs, costal walk, town and local bus routes.The couple running it are on site, so they're always to hand.. and their doggo loves fusses! We had to pump up our rear suspension so the tow bar didnt catch on the exit ramp - just worth a note for longer rigs. To top it all off.... spectacular scenery. What more could you ask for?

Não gostou Loos didn't have any flushing fluid so were very smelly (yes, it's summer), but no big deal.. we just used the loo in our motorhome.

Gostou Pub was very well appointed. Really tidy pitches. Close proximity to the play park in the next field. Really accessible local bus routes.

Não gostou Showers could use a little TLC. I had to reattch one shower door when I walked in, but no big deal.

Do gestor: Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave feedback. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and the children enjoyed the play park - the Parish Council have recently refurbished it. The showers are checked on a regular basis and we do ask if there are any issues that the staff in the pub are informed but thank you for putting the door back on its runners. We hope to see you all again at some point in the future.

Gostou Proximity to the Tank Musuem was ideal, but thats as far as it goes.

Não gostou Just about everything else about this site put us off... firstly the sign is tiny and very easy to miss. A sawn off branch has been left hanging over the immediate entrance - taller mororhomes, beware. It's incredibly overgrown and this means the photos provided are deceptive. A strimmer would easily re-establish the pitches. Despite the listing suggesting it was suitable for motorhomes, we would disagree. Much smaller site, access road and pitches than photos suggest. 2 glaming pods at the very beginning and the only pitch available to us was right at the back of them - we could hear them yelling at their children through their walls and ours. No access to the woodland at the rear/side of the site. I pushed through the nettles/shubbery and it was VERY obvious that it was regularly being used as a toilet. Drinking water directly next to the elsan point (i.e a manhole to the cess pit).. no thanks. The site is completely unmanned and maintenance practically nonexistent.

Gostou The proximity to the beach. On-site ice cream parlour is excellent. Short walk to town. Allows fire pits. Lovely to see the horses grazing on the ridge at the back of the site. Level pitches. Clean & modern shower block.

Não gostou Lack of children's swings or any outdoor play equipment. Very little in the town re entertainment, cafés or restaurants. Patchy 4g reception.
