I'm so glad you had a lovely peaceful stay with us.

Our hardstanding pitches are in continual use by hundreds of vehicles a year and seasoned caravanners generally bring a couple of blocks to level up an inch or two here and there so it may be worth adding them to your kit for future use.

Não gostou Someone occupying out pitch when we returned from shopping . The pitch was marked with our name on a board and the board was swapped and our pitch was allocated to another van.

After reviewing our CCTV footage, we noted that your vehicle entered the site but left again within 8 minutes. During that time, another large caravan arrived and used the pitch you had initially pulled into to assist with reversing into the opposite space. We have no further record of your return that day, and the pitch remained unused for the rest of your booking.

We did try to follow up by messaging the contact number on your booking, but the response indicated the number was not associated with anyone named Sue. That made it difficult for us to assist or clarify if youwere okay or had just decided to not return.

Just to note, pitch allocations are made by us on arrival, and a one-night booking doesn't guarantee a particular spot. As such, we're surprised by your review of the site’s facilities, as it appears you were not on-site long enough to experience them.

With over 200 positive reviews, we’re proud of the customer service and atmosphere we work hard to maintain. You seemed lovely and happy when you arrived, even complimenting the site, so a quick knock on the door or phone call would likely have resolved any confusion immediately.

We wish you all the best and hope your future stays elsewhere are more straightforward.

Gostou A gorgeous place to stay in the hot weather as the 'Dapple' sunlight throught the huge Oak trees makes a shade and more enjoyable stay.

What a week of beautiful sunshine you had!! I'm pleased you found some welcome shade under the oaks when needed and hopefully we will see you again in cooler times too!

Gostou A real treasure of a find. A small and peaceful site back to basics. All the pitches looked lovely and I had a choice of 2. Bridgette came and greeted me once I'd pictched up and explained where everything was and also a contact number in case of needing help. A little private woodland was attached to the site for a 5-10 minute walk with my dog. Could walk across nearby fields to the local pub in Holt. Lovely to hear birdsong all day too.

Gostou Lovely site, really quiet and peaceful. Tiny site of only 6 pitches but plenty of space around each pitch. Nice little woodland to let the dogs run around in. Most pitches are shaded by trees which is good for the dogs in the height of summer. Will definitely stay again!

Não gostou Could do with a sign facing the directions of travel on entrance to the site as it’s easy to miss! There is one sign but it faces the road head-on.

Gostou Owner Bridgette made us welcome on arrival with lots of knowledge for surrounding areas, we were able to select our own pitch in a Very quiet and peaceful site within easy reach of great local public houses and villages. If you’re looking for small tranquil site in great surroundings Dapplewood is perfect.

Gostou Just returned from a 6 night break at Dapplewood Camp site and would highly recommend it.Met by our host on arrival who was extremely helpful and approachable. Pitch sizes will suit everyone, even an American RV “bus” had its happy pitch. On site dog walking through the woods great treat for our spoilt pooch, but watch out for the Pheasant and other wildlife. Quite, clean and ideal base to explore the local area, hope to return soon , many thanks for an unforgettable holiday
