Little Roadway Farm

Situated on the North Devon Coast set in some of the most beautiful coastline and countryside in the country, Little Roadway Farm boasts top coastal paths, cycle trails and bridleways right from the entrance and sits within each reach of North Devon’s main attractions and some of the areas best food and drink establishments. At the foot of the hill you will find Woolacombe’s award winning Blue Flag Beach, where there is a local surf school run by Hunter. There are also Mullacott Riding Stables just a short distance down the road in case you feel like a sunset canter along the beach. There are many nearby beaches where your can enjoy a relaxing beach day, have a sunbath, surf and let children amuse themselves in the rock pools. The nearby Tarka Trail is a coast-to-coast cycle path which runs along the old train line. This is an excellent off road cycle trail ideal for all the family. Bicycles are available for hire at Otter Cycle Hire in Braunton. Take the riverside route to Barnstaple, watch the herons and other wildlife on the riverbank or take the countryside route to Crow Point & Braunton Burrows, enjoy a trip to the beach to sit and watch the boats and barges while you have a picnic on the waters edge. If you are with children, there are plenty of top attractions to choose from for great days out with the family, including Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Exmoor Zoo and Watermouth Castle. There is a local bus service called The Ocean Wave that goes around the coastal towns and villages. This service leaves from opposite The Red Barn pub in the village. There is a tourist information centre along the esplanade on the right hand side and reasonably priced taxi services that pass through the village regularly.
