Padstow View Campsite

Gostou The Bell tent was great. Good washing and toilet facilities.
We enjoyed the pizza available on evenings at a fair price.
The owner was available whenever we needed, very friendly and provided very helpful guidance to the local area to make the most of our time.
The location was excellent to visit lots of nice beaches along the north Cornish coastline.

Não gostou - The traffic on both the adjacent roads can be heavy if you are sensitive to such noise.
- The flood lights from the neighbour was quite bright through the back of the tent.

Gostou Really nice camping grounds with lots of amenities. Toilets and showers always available and kept clean with a hairdryer in the toilet block to use.
Has a little shop for any forgotten bits. Onsite coffee can open from 7:30am was a highlight and pizza van each evening if you don’t feel like cooking or going out for food.
Made the whole visit very relaxing.
Lovely views and easy bus routes to Padstow or other locations.

Gostou We loved everything on the campsite, from Judith and Claire being so welcoming and offering all the essentials to the facilities and views.
The hosts are very very kind and welcoming, very helpful. There is everything you need, the little tiny shop has some of your essentials and there is a cafe and pizza on site, Tesco was only a 5 min drive. Padstow is a very sweet little town. The beaches are amazing around the area like Trevone Bay.
We will go back again as there was so much more we wanted to do.

Não gostou You can hear the cars on the road passing but it did not bother us as we were busy in the day and then it was quieter at night anyway when we slept.

Gostou Judith and her daughter were so friendly and polite, they made the campsite. My children would go see them multiple times when at the tent for a chat and to tell them about their days and what they had been doing. Even if they were busy they were no trouble and always took the time to chat to them.

The site itself, the field starts off flat but then slopes the further away from the entrance that you go so a pitch closer to the entrance and exit is best. However, we managed to find an almost flat pitch 3/4 of the way down the field. There were no defined pitches so you were able to pick your spot where you wanted.

There was free wifi for thise who need, coffee and breakfast items available and the Padstow Pizza on site. People would come who were not staying on the site to get a pizza during there opening hours. My girls sampled it one night and really enjoyed the pizza.

The toilets and showers were cleaned daily and were adequate.

Não gostou Not really a dislike more of a recommended improvement for future. Invest in more toilet and shower facilities, the field is fairly large and at peek times the facilities would get full. (Maybe have a family sized shower for those with younger children)

Gostou Stayed in a bell tent and site was well set up. Great toilet facilities, pizza on evening and breakfast on a morning at a reasonable price.
Owners were very helpful as we needed extra air in air mattresses the 2nd night and all was sorted from our days outing when we returned
Owner was very friendly.
Very clean and hygienic
Price for two night stay very reasonable as other locations we stayed at were no way near as good as this campsite
Great location for calling at different places of interest without being in the main areas

Não gostou To be picky there is a road nearby with traffic (minor noise if you’re a light sleeper)
