Albion Farm Yurt

Gostou We had such a lovely stay!
A very comfortable, cosy and private get away for a few nights. Great for our dogs. And a short walk to the lovely Pandora inn. We felt very well looked after and would definitely come back! Thansk for having us!

Gostou Absolutely everything! The yurt was cosy, comfy and the bed was so comfortable my little girl slept like a log which she doesn't do at home!
The fridge/freezer came in handy and the charge ports,
Hot tub was amazing and didn't take long to get to the perfect temperature, toilets were nice and clean, love the open space and fire pit was even made up with the washing line clothes dried quickly.
Pen was brilliant, couldn't of done anything more for us she was lovely and attentive we will 100% be back to stay here such a lovely place and definitely a core memory. Our little girl had the best time she loved running round and dancing about. Have already recommended to everyone we have spoke to :)

Gostou Beautiful location, it's a lovely secluded spot, very lovely and helpful owners, we loved the yurt decor, bed very comy futon bed with linen provided, there was room for us and our two boys, aged 12 and 10 years, with good comfortable camp beds provided for them, (bed linen not provided).
We loved the hot tub, camp fire cooking, using tripod and Dutch oven/pot. Loads of space to play out door games, quiet and peaceful, we loved hearing the owls, and saw one owl glide past the yurt at night!
Good bathroom facilities, and use of fridge and power points nearby.
Thankyou for such a lovely stay, we will be back.

Gostou Beautiful spot in great location. 10 min walk down to Restronguet or Mylor where you have Pandora Inn or Lemon Arms respectively . Local circular walks as well as easy access to many beaches in area . Yurt well equipped, bed very comfortable. Felt private, peaceful and definitely going back.

Gostou Beautiful, secluded, well-equipped yurt. Perfectly private and ideal for relaxing or exploring the area. Very warm welcome with cream tea. Attentive but not intrusive hosts. Lovely hot tub. Cosy log burner in the yurt. Towels and bed linen provided. Lots to do with lovely local walks and pubs/shops nearby. Very dog friendly.

Não gostou The only thing I didn’t like were the big spiders at night in the toilet building as I’m a big arachnophobe. That’s just nature and to be expected. It wouldn’t stop me going back.

Gostou The yurt is completely private with no properties overlooking it. It is spacious, clean and has everything you need for a self catering holiday. The bed is very comfortable. Some wood is provided for the Woodfired hot tub, open fire and log burner (extra wood is available to buy from the host or village shop), candles and lanterns are provided for lighting at night, there are also solar lights on the outside of yurt decking. The hot tub is spacious (plenty of room for 2 adults, would probably fit 3) and getting in at night after a long day exploring was bliss! We loved the large table to sit at outside to eat or watch the stars at night. The bathroom is only a few meters away from the yurt and has electricity, it was also very clean and spacious. There is a fabulous village shop around a 15 minute walk away which is very well stocked and also two pubs within walking distance that do food (we didn't eat at either but did have a drink). The host was very friendly and responsive to messages but not intrusive in any way.

Não gostou We didnt really dislike anything! The only issue i would say we had is the hot tub does take around 2.5-3 hours to heat once you light the fire (we aren't experienced fire lighters!), and it's a full time job keeping on top of adding wood to the fire to keep it going. You do need to use quite a lot of wood to get it to the correct temperature (we spent around £50 on wood/kindling/firelighters for the hot tub and the wood burner inside the yurt over a 3 night stay and we were out most of the time, your first basket of logs are free, kiln dried logs are then £10 a bag from the host or £8.50 from the village shop). We arrived around 5.30pm on our first night and didn't manage to get in the tub until around 10pm so it would be a great idea for the host to ask if we wanted to get in the tub on arrival and for the host to light the fire to start the heating process. This is only a small issue but would have made the stay even better!

Do gestor: Thank you for your lovely review. We really appreciate your feedback on the hot tub and the length of time it takes to heat it. You are right - the initial heating up of the water takes longer than the following nights, as it tends to retain its heat a bit for the following evening. We could definitely get the wood burner going for the hot tub if we know that guests are arriving a bit later and are wanting to use it on their first evening. Last summer was our first season of having the hot tub, so that is very helpful. :)
