Gostou The perfect place to detox from the stresses of life and immerse yourself in nature.

The hosts are lovely, offering support and great conversation. Gary's sculptures decorate the area which are fascinating.

The campsite is located next to a beautiful part of the Avon river which is just a 5 minute walk away.

In 24 hours I saw a tawny owl, kingfisher, and a weasel, amongst a wide range of other wildlife. And I hear that deer often visit the site too.

Gostou There's plenty of space. We couldn't see another tent from our camp. Very peaceful and definitely wild. We saw deer, pheasant and huuuge squirrels that you'd never find in the city.
It is a lovely place and the hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Definitely recommended

Gostou It was very peaceful, quiet and loved the wildlife. Walking from the site into local village across the river was lovely.
Toilet and shower is clean, didn’t use the cooking area. The people who own it are very friendly. Saw Muntjac’s running past our pitch. It was only the one night, great as a stop over or a base to visit local area.

Não gostou Not really a dislike due to the site, my car is quite low profile and wouldn’t manage the hillier areas. It would have been something I would have liked to know before hand as this limited us. But that’s poor preparation on my part.

Just to clarify for future guests, our campsite is a non-set-pitch site, so guests have the flexibility to choose where they would like to pitch. Access to some of the areas can depend on the type and ground clearance of the vehicle, particularly for lower-profile cars. Most vehicles can access the main areas, but we always recommend getting in touch with us beforehand if you have a low vehicle or any concerns about the terrain.

Gostou Owners really friendly and helpful. Nice to camp among trees and to be free to choose your own spot. We had a mixed group of tents and hammocks which this site was ideal for. Free fire wood which is very rare for campsites to offer
