Gostou Handy for one overnight stop close to the M6

Não gostou The site is beside a country road which is like a race track for locals we saw and heard everything from vintage sports cars to motorbikes screaming past even late at night. The road was around 10m from our pitch through a hedge. There appeared to be no site management - 2/3 families had arranged to meet and partied until almost midnight making a lot of noise. On most sites, management do a late night walk around to control this type of thing. There didn’t appear to be any security - the barrier mentioned didn’t exist. Additional charge for our small dog.

Do gerente: Dear Graham. We are yet in the many years the site has been running to have had complaints re excessive noise past quiet hours. Due to this, we do not accept your comment that there appeared to be no site management as our park warden/cleaner visits the site throughout the day/night to check on the park. I believe we spoke on site although no comments, emails or texts were ever received about excessive noise, which naturally we would have addressed immediately. We received no other guest comments re such an issue. If guests have any issues we would expect it fair to raise these with us during their stay rather making comments following their stay... You had over 120 Pitchup and wider reviews to assess, which provides a clear and very detailed view of our park and the considerations around any road noise. Given this, it is disappointing that somebody would then book on our park to then complain about road noise... We take client satisfaction and comments very seriously, deal and resolve issues brought to out attention during a stay promptly. We can do very little if we are not offered the ability to deal with an issue when we are made aware following your stay....
