Gostou Lovely site with friendly and helpful staff. The George pub serves fabulous food (we had an evening meal and breakfast), highly recommended.

Gostou Nice spacious site with a large dog walking area.

Não gostou Welcomed initially, paid our pitch fees confirming electric and water was included. Very helpful lady explained where the water tap was and where we could park up. Went to fill up water but adaptor had been removed from tap. Returned to reception to ask for some assistance and was met by a younger woman who launched into an aggressive rant over motorhomers who just come and take her water to use on the beach (whatever that means). She continued her herranging accusing me of taking the p*** just turning up for one night and wanting to use her water. She informed me that if I wanted to use water we would have to stay for 2 or 3 nights. She started questioning me as to where we had come from and where we we going. She then refused to allow me to use the water, which I had paid for. Not wishing to exasperate the situation I explained we were new to motorhoming and we were in a hired motor home. The tirade continued. Apparently if we could afford a £50000 motor home we could afford to pay for our own water. Espically as it takes 1000 litres to fill up a tank (no it doesn't 70 or 80 litres at most). She then said she would ask her husband if we could have some water, on her return she informed me that I was lucky and for an addition £2 she would give me the adapter enabling us to have some water. I duly paid and drew down some water. On returning the adapter she carried on with a justification of her rant saying that 1000 litres cost a lot of money. I declined to get involved in a more of her nonsense and aggression and beat a swift retreat to our van. With this behaviour and treatment of customers I would be surprised if this site is still in business next season.

Do gerente: Such a shame, but thank you for the lovely review. May i remind you that the only reason you came into our site for 1 night, was due to the adverse weather conditions of high winds in your Motor home, as you were unable to stay in the car parks /beaches of which you stated. We were not aggressive just stating a fact, and as we own 2 parks, and being the caravan/camping park business for over 30 years, we are extremely knowledgeable to the business and the scams.
