Não gostou Some of thr electric hook ups were over 10m from the pitches, would have been nice to know as we only had 10m cable. Would be nice to have a park for the kids (but this has been addressed in a google review as to why this is not possible, which I understand). Had some works going on to extend the site, would have been nice to be aware as they woke me up one morning.

We're really pleased to hear you enjoyed the spaciousness of the park, our new clean facilities and our fantastic location with direct access to the Trans Pennine Trail and easy walks towards Hornsea and the beach. We were a little surprised by the comment regarding the electric hook-up. All of our electric hook-up points are within 10 metres of the pitches, and we've never had an issue with the cable length previously. It may have been that the positioning of your tent on the pitch meant the cable needed to reach a little further than expected. We do appreciate, however, that this may not have been obvious when booking, and we'll consider whether we can make the positioning of the hook-up points clearer. Thank you also for your understanding regarding the children's play area. As you mentioned, it's something we've considered, but the initial cost, logistics and ongoing health and safety requirements make it difficult for a small park like ours to provide one. We're sorry that the works woke you one morning. The works were taking place on the other side of the park, and unfortunately the contractors didn't communicate their start date to us in advance either, so we weren't able to give guests prior notice. This is something we have already addressed with them. Thank you again for your constructive feedback. Gostou Location, loads of activities, lovely and clean facilities. HUGE pitches. Very well maintained. Free wifi, although wasn't the best, the premium wifi was good value, but didn't purchase it for a shorter stay.

Não gostou The water tap was on my pitch. Which meant there was people coming up all night long filling up their water and waking us up. They gave us the wrong pitch originally, which mean although I had started setting up I had to move. The original pitch they gave me, Id have much preferred to stay on than the one I was moved to. Even though there a path next to my pitch, becuase the water and electric hook up was on my pitch, people kept walking through my camp.

We appreciate that this was inconvenient, and understand that you would have preferred to remain on your original pitch. Although we’re unable to see any notes relating to the original allocation, we always aim to ensure pitches are allocated correctly first time and will take your feedback on board. Our water taps are communal facilities, and we do ask guests to be considerate of other campers and to use them outside of our quiet hours of 10:30pm–7:00am. We’re sorry that people were accessing the tap during the night and, in doing so, walking through your camping area and disturbing you. Thank you again for your feedback. Gostou Beautiful location, large clean and quiet site. So close to the beach, fell asleep listening the waves every night. The beach so incredibly windy but the camp site as perfectly sheltered and warm. Stunning views, lovely walks. Amazing location

Não gostou Not hot water at the sink wash up area, and no drainage board which made it harder to stack stuff before drying them.

Gostou Large open area, stunning views. Well kept, clean and friendly

Não gostou Nothing really. Only issue we had was some teenagers from the campsite over the road kept coming to charge their phones, use the freezer and removing our icepack from the freezer. But not a lot that our camp could do as they weren't even staying there.
