Gostou The Paddocks campsite is one of the best sites we have ever stayed on in the Uk. The pitch was large and very level. Our tent flew up in the space allowed and even enabled us to fence in our dogs. The bathroom facilities are amazing, two full bathrooms, two shower rooms and three separate toilets and they were spotlessly clean all the time. The communal space provided a large covered area with a large table suitable for campers to use in bad weather. There was a microwave, two toasters, a kettle, large fridge and a freezer with free ice! What a wonderful luxury to have ice for our drinks. Leigh and Juliette are fantastic hosts and I think they have thought of everything! Clear recycling also helped us to sort out our rubbish, love knowing that we are doing our bit for the environment! The camp is only a short walk to the main road and buses run through to Pwellhi or Porthmadog. We walked into Criccieth and enjoyed lunch out and a few cocktails! We will definitely be booking again.

Gostou The views of the river were stunning and we saw lots of birds including Red Kites and a heron fishing. There were plenty of electric pitches to choose from and the field was fairly flat. There was a big notice board telling you about the site and the local area, a small play area for the tiddlers, showers, toilets/washrooms, dishwash and laundry facilities. The facilities were kept spotlessly clean and tidy, swept and mopped at least twice daily. The site was easy to find and well signposted. There is a supermarket about fifteen minutes away although there is a village shop right on the entrance to the site albeit a bit expensive. A beautiful site we had a very relaxed and restful break, we didn't really want to leave! Just remember to bring your midge spray and bite cream!

Não gostou The shower facilities were limited, although there is supposed to be 25 pitches there's only three showers, one of which is a mixed sex/disabled access. If the site was busy this would have been an issue. Also the dishwash sinks are situated in the men's bathroom and ladies bathroom which meant we couldn't wash up together (that's our thing, he washes I dry!) There is a random yurt and a half finished cob structure on the camp field too.

Do gerente: Many thanks for your details review , it is very much appreciated. We do actually try to keep our use of pitches to below 15 to avoid any contention for the shower facilities , we are also compliant with the what we are required to provide in our licence but we arew looking to add an extra shower and also an external dish-washing facility to address your specific points. The Yurt is not random ! The cob structure will be completed when I have some more time. Thanks Martyn
