Gostou Great location, and facilities. Had pizza onsite 1 night which was lovely and was nice to sit and listen to the live music, wasn't too loud and didn't go on too late. Very friendly staff.

Não gostou This isn't the relaxing site we're used to. Loud group on the field behind our pitch with loud music/base and talking/ laughing until 1.45am when another camper shouted at them to turn the music off, the laughing carried on. This ruined the next day a I was so tired, if I had known there was a number to call in this situation I definitely would've called it. As large groups are allowed onsite this would put us off returning and recommending in the future which is a shame as it's a lovely site. Ann app is needed for electricity, this wasn't clear at the time off booking and I had paid for electricity which was then refunded onsite.

Gostou Very friendly staff and excellent facilities, shower block was very clean. Site was in a good location to the places we wanted to visit.

Não gostou Our pitch (8) was OK when we arrived, however the next day a motorhome parked on the pitch in front, this made it very difficult to back onto our driveway awning, took at least 6 turns as we didn't want to drive into the pitch in front. I think this should be pointed out when booking and at a reduced rate as we were then only looking at the rear of the vehicle in front, to the right is a large propane gas cylinder and toilet block. We didn't ask to move as we had already set up and didn't want to be nearer the train line. The train hooting starts before 7am and carries on until quite late. Rock pegs are needed if parking near the trees as normal pegs wouldn't go in the ground, this wasn't due to the dry weather, they hit something in the ground, we assumed roots, not the sites fault but would've been good to know beforehand.

Gostou Lovely quiet site, facilities & site kept very clean. The owner was very welcoming and around during the day if needed. Site is across the road from a country park with river/ lake walk and a forest walk at the edge of site.

Não gostou Not a dislike as such, I will visit again with my dogs but not until it cools down a bit as there is no shade at all on site.

Gostou The most peaceful site we've stayed on so far, no traffic noise, just birds. Great size pitch for our camper. Lovely area.

Não gostou Only 1 washing up area. Not enough toilets/ showers as the site got busier. Not the owners fault but there was some dog mess at the edge of our pitch. Could do with passing places on the approach lane, we had to reverse the camper quite a way back as we were leaving (1st time in a week) I would still recommend this site.

Gostou Lovely quiet site with lots of room for each pitch, we had a non electric pitch. The toilet block and showers were very clean. The owner answered an email enquiry we had before we arrived. We'll definitely be returning and have already recommended it to family

Gostou Helpful staff and spacious pitches. The shower block is outdated however if this was updated they would definitely need to put the prices up, good value for money. There is a bit of road noise but it didn't spoil our stay.

Gostou Lovely clean well kept site with great facilities. I think this was one of the biggest pitches we have stayed on and we'll marked out. The owners and site warden were really friendly and helpful. A bonus was the fish and chip van which comes on Thursdays and was delicious. About 10 min drive to 2 dog friendly beaches which were lovely and clean.

Gostou Location was ideal in the hot weather as was able to walk our dogs in the forest and keep them cool. I would've given 7, husband said 5 so we went in the middle. Can't comment on WiFi as not sure there was any

Não gostou Showers/toilets dated and shower too hot for me, was on a timer so a lot of hot water wasted while I waited for it to stop. Although the pitch is Regulation size, it is the smallest pitch we've had, and close to other pitches. Outdoor washing up area has no shelter, not sure how it would be used in the normal British weather lol Arrived and pitched up, then told we were too far over for fire regs, and had to move over about a foot (camper & awning) as another camper was arriving Following day next to us, no one arrived on the 4 pitches on the side. We only stayed 1 night of the 2 booked

Gostou Stunning site, it's as nice as the photos. Very clean site and facilities and the staff/ owners were very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions about the local area. Although the showers have to be paid for, this was not a problem, (owner had change we needed) and it added hardly anything to the cost of our 3 night stay. 20p a minute, 2 minutes was long enough for us. The way the pitches are set out no views are obstructed. I have already recommended the site to a few people. Not sure what the WiFi was like a we had or own

Não gostou Would like a shelf or hanging basket for toiletries in the shower, there was a hook so could be done. We wouldn't walk to the pub with 2 dogs as was on a road with no pavement but was only a very short drive so was ok.

Gostou Lovely and clean site. All the facilities are kept very clean. Close to laycock village which is lovely and worth a visit. Would recommend the site.

Não gostou Our pitch (17) was next to the toilet block, not such a problem as hidden by a bush, however, the hand dryer is very loud and the door to the block is continuously left open so sounds even louder. I did speak to the owner who explained they are louder them they expected and are looking at getting self closing doors to quieten the sound. I believe this would help a lot.

Gostou Lovely clean and quiet site. Very friendly staff. Toilet/shower block and washing up room very clean. 5 minute walk to local country pub where dogs are allowed in the garden. Free WiFi
