Gostou Beautiful scenery, warm & helpful welcome. Clean toilets & showers

Não gostou Extremely windy.... wind gusts where only 40mph but had to pack up has even with car shielding tent it was folding in half 😳 I've been on sites with hedge rows & trees where offered slight protection unfortunately this site is wide open to elements so on even a moderate wind its bad everyone packed up and left.... we only had 2 out of our 5 nights their was offered no refund either sadly 😔 my 4 yr old was heart broken

Gostou The quiet & scenic views

Não gostou Only 1 toilet that had no toilet roll for first 2 days their, the shower is in same 'shed' has toilet so if pitch was full they'd be huge ques! We had folk knicking at door when we was using toilet ... couldn't get a shower/bathe daughter 4 yrs old has shower didn't heat up water was freezing hubby mentioned it to host few times and nothing was replied 🙄 we had to rely upon baby wipes to wash our 4 year old which I felt like I was neglecting her basic needs I always book sites with showers n toilet facilities it should be stated shower is cold only & only 1 toilet ... no disabled facilities. Sorry but I'd not return 😔 basic facilities need vast improvement

Gostou Nice tidy site with really clean and tidy toilet n shower facilities

Não gostou Bed in pod was lumpy & had a stale smoke smell. Pillows where lumpy... quilt etc cheap quality. Accommodation just wasn't has expected dust under bed and sofa Stains on sofa etc They did offer to switch us pods but wasn't worth moving everything with a toddler n my health flaring up it'd have just been too much but company did try to sort things in all fairness

Gostou Everything! An absolute awesome site, quiet and peaceful, toilets are lovely and clean 😊 showers again clean. The Schlamping bell tents are lovely and the bed....that is soooo comfortable, really lovely plump pillows & quality duvet & bedding too! Extension cable so can charge your phones etc In kitchen area theirs a cool box with milk & bottle water supplied. Also double gas stove & all cutlery and such supplied was also coffee, tea & sugar supplied too! Staff are lovely .... thru the night when I woke to tend to my 3 year old I could hear fox cubs around the land surrounding tent crying away... was just nice to feel safe yet feel at 1 with nature too! Beautiful place to watch the stars too my daughters first time seeing stars in sky ( live in city and light pollution affects seeing them) she was awestruck n kept shouting look mummy look stars wow cool! Really enjoyed our stay from start to finish!

Gostou Warm welcome, the pitch is nice and spacious and whole park is lovely and clean. Toilets & shower blocks nice and clean. Nice area for kids to play with wooden park area and goal post. Love they allow fire pits ( few sites don't )

Gostou Shielded from wind..... toilet blocks clean. Pitches OK ish size.

Não gostou Reception closed more than open, number for contact is unreachable when u need a member of staff they ain't around and leaving voicemail just gets ignored. Daughter was ill with high levels of chlorine ( tested by staff n confirmed high ) in drinking water! Loud noise late at night is allowed the noise policy is 11.30 I thought it was a family site not party site guess I was wrong...... very noisy site not great for families with young children that need to sleep. Fire pits not allowed but people having them and using twigs/tree branches etc to burn off surrounding trees! Entertainment poor I've put a complaint in to site n even thou I was on site when submitted complaint no one bothered to come speak to me to try put anything right! Plz AVOID

I do hope your Daughter is okay, and that you were able to raise any concerns with our dedicated Guest Experience Team in Reception, so that they could look to try and resolve these issues during your time with us. I will also take the time to share your review with the relevant teams you've provided feedback for, so that we can work to make improvements. We're also sorry to hear you were kept awake by your neighbours, we do have a quiet policy on park that guests should be respectful of others and start to lower any noise after 11pm, so it's disappointing to hear that this wasn't your experience on this occasion. I do hope this experience won't deter you from visiting one of our 65 Holiday Parks again in future. ^AB

Gostou Scenery was beautiful....

Não gostou Toilets where vile... cleaned once a day but each time I used them was feaceas on seat was even blood once from someone on their period! The site isn't suitable for anyone with mobility issues.... the site is on a huge hillside and has big steep inclines the tent pitches are on rows each row goes up the hill we was put on row G right at top of hill before statics and getting to toilet on row D I think it was certainly was challenging.... a steep slope then a number of steps then a rubble pathway.... n same again going back up to tent! I couldn't do farm thing with my 3 year old due to incline had to meet near reception then walk the steep incline right to top to feed animals no way I could've made that even healthy folk where struggling! £24 to do 2 lots of washing and drying clothing Indoor kids room was OK not many toys kids arguing n taking toys off younger ones ( my 3 yr old did nothing but cry at other kids taking things off her even with me their stopping it happening ) then children's entertainment was on aimed at 7 yrs plus... so my 3 yr old had no access to soft play or toys whilst this was on for almost 2 hrs due to entertainment being stood in front soft play and all children's of elder ages sat on floor.... Just not a great site for younger kids or reduced mobility but great if you got older kids n are full mobility/healthy Just not for us! We left early

Gostou Everything! Absolutely amazing site 👌 highly recommend..... first time we've visited and will be back each year! We all loved our stay, toilets clean, showers clean, restaurant/pub decent prices and huge portions of food n taste amazing. Play park is great all kids playing together of all ages nicely. Just a all round positive experience best site we've visited so far!

Gostou Decent size pitches we got 8 man air tent and trike & trailer and was lots if space. Welcoming helpful family run site. Safe for toddler to run around.

Não gostou Noise from road was difficult to get used too especially at 4am in a morning.

Não gostou Can't park vehicle on pitch/next to tent 😕 disabled I explained difficulties thou and they gave us a hardstanding opposite to park on... but could've done with stating on advert. Satnav postcode takes you onto wrong road too. Pitches right near road not ideal with toddlers Woken at 7.30am by delivery truck thundering past tent
