Gostou We love this site. Stayed a few times this year. Its one of my favourite relaxing places.

Gostou Nice lake. Views beautiful. Clean toilets. Hard standing pitch was spacious. Enjoyed seeing the aircraft and handy bus stop outside the site. Staff were ok with us...a little abrupt at answering questions but witnessed them being quite rude to some others whom we felt quite sorry for.

Não gostou Only 1 dog poo bin on the whole site which was right at at the entrance on the the tiny dog walk field. Insufficient water access points for motorhomes as had pack everything up to refill and in a heatwave its not ideal. People had fires at night which isnt allowed and strong smell of weed.

Gostou 2nd visit in two weeks. Love the peace and tranquility of this place. Everything I need right now. Took parents who equally loved it.

Gostou Loved the peace and quiet. Nice big pitches and lovely Outlook. Very clean showers and toilet . Nice walks, garden centre and pub about 20 mins away. Didnt need anything else as just wanted peace...and that's what we got. We got a great tv signal loads of channels but there is hardly any phone signal on the pitches...wasn't an issue for us. Presume its all the trees..so we just walked towards middle of site if we needed to get a signal .

Gostou What a gem of a place. Everything about our stay was perfect. Large enclosed pitches, spotless facilities, manicured gardens, scenic views, dog walking area (and doggy loo), lovely pub...we didnt eat in the restaurant. So quiet and peaceful even though it was virtually full..it just had a lovely calm peaceful vibe the whole time. The one thing that stands out are the staff. We have never met friendlier helpful staff ANYWHERE ELSE. An absolute credit to the place. We will be back for sure. Mylo our border collie and Coco our choc lab loved the enclosed dog field. A great bonus.

Gostou Lovely place. Quiet and nice walks. Nicest showers/toilets you could wish for. Unfortunately we had to leave on our first full day as my dog collapsed and we had to rush him to the emergency vets. So will need to book again soon.

Gostou Lovely peaceful site. Stress free check in. Great sized pitches. Has everything you need. Lovely views from pitches. Nice pub not far ..across 2 fields. Lovely walks down the river. Would recommend

Gostou Lovely site close to motorway junction. Spacious pitches. Nice fishing lake and stunning views. You can hear motorway but its not intrusive. Very clean toilets. Dog walking field. Its quite open so if its windy you will notice it more at the top of the site. Lovely cafe on site serving coffee tea soups sausage rolls cakes etc. Owner very nice. Lovely walks . We enjoyed it and will return

Gostou Stunning place to stay. THE BEST SHOWERS EVER. A lovely welcome from friendly staff. Nice quiet adult only site. Enjoyed the cafe and farm shop had everything you could want..including fresh sourdough bread which is rare for me to find when travelling around. Nice views and a dog walking field. Free wifi was great

Gostou Very clean and tidy. Nice big pitches. Lovey fish and chips available thur fri sat sun. Little coffee caravan but didn't use this. Nice walk to a very quiet beach. Facilities clean. Warm welcome and very friendly

Não gostou Just relieved we were well away from the camping fields as they were filled with very large groups of campers who were definitely having a good time...and using the bushes as a toilet. This was only at weekend and the site was deserted down there from Sunday lunch.

Gostou Nice quiet site. Lake to walk around or do some fishing. Nice pub serving food with beer garden. Walks along river treat.

Gostou What an absolutely stunning place. We loved EVERYTHING. From the drive up and beautiful entrance, the warm welcome we received from the hosts who are a credit to the whole place. Always a wave or or chat. Toilets and showers immaculate (I loved the music playing in there...nice touch). Pitches big and sheltered with hedges. Easy to access everything. It was quiet whilst we were there so perfect. Lovely manicured hedges and lawns. Beautiful view across the bay. Its a working farm so dogs on leads at all times and I loved this as ours is a bit reactive at other dogs running near our van. We walked across the beach to Silverdale one day...prob half hour if you dont stop like we did to throw sticks on the beach. In the other direction is Arnside..probably 45 minutes walk but we went along the public paths , which was very picturesque and the dogs could run. So going there we took about 2 hours walking the line way. Lovely fish and chips in Armside too. All in all it was perfect....even with the overnight thunderstorms....our new favourite. A bit reluctant to put a review on and keep this gem of a place secret. ..but thats just selfish! So sharing this for anyone that likes a beach, hidden footpath walks, an immaculate campsite and the friendliest hosts you could ask for. Thank you 😊

Gostou Loved everything about this site. From the moment we arrived and a super friendly check in. Lovely pitch and all amenities close by. The wardens that keep it looking immaculate were so friendly and stopped for a chat. Hosts were superb sourcing us a map and bridal path directions for a lovely walk..with a gorgeous little pub on the way. Road is busy but not noisy. Easy to find and access. A great pub within a few minutes walk. Perfect little dog walk on site too. One of our favourite places to add to our list and we will return. We didn't pay for wifi so can't comment but the tv signal was good .

Não gostou Nothing to dislike. A credit to owners. Although I was a bit miffed to see another camper not pick up their dog poo on the site dog walk...but that isn't the owners fault.

Gostou Lovely peaceful site. Toilets exceptionally clean. Easy check in and all required services. Lovely surroundings especially the wooded area. Great wifi and tv signal which we made use of as was a bit too chilly to sit out all night. Grounds are clean and tidy. Short walk into small village and river walk.

Gostou What a fabulous place. The site is clean and all the facilities you need. Lovely walks straightforward the site. A great enclosed dog field wasan added bonus too. Only a short walk into the village which had numerous pubs and cafes serving lovely food. A chip shop and takeaway Chinese opens nearly every day. There's a lovely new pet store too in the village. This is in.our top 5 places due to the friendliness of the owner on checking in , the location and the numerous walking opportunities. The pitches are really spacious too. Wifi a bit hit and miss but not a big issue for us. We will be back.

Gostou Loved everything. Surrounded by woodland. Super friendly people on site. Quiet and peaceful. All amenities you need..toilets, showers, boot cleaning area, recycling, elsan, easy to find, very clean, nicely manicured lawns, loved the mowed routes through the woodland, nice walk to village pubs and river. Definitely be back here. A little gem of a place.

Gostou Very quiet pitch ( could be because we were the only ones there). Think the storms may have added to how quiet it was but we had a wonderful time. Walks mud peace relaxation rain wind and sunshine. We had it all . Would definitely return. Managed to get an hour sat in the sun . Easy to find. Facilities clean and had everything we needed. Nice walks and pub and shop about 15 min walk. Pub isn't the cheapest though in my opinion bit a nice Pitstop after a walk. Great wifi too which was a bonus as the weather was awful so retreated to our van of an evening.
