Gostou Good large pitches, toilets & showers all good. Staff friendly and bar / restaurant good too ( Thursday - Sunday!). Access to the beach and walks perfect!

Gostou Beautifully neatly kept site with open aspect surrounded by walnut trees. The facilities are modern and tastefully designed. Mark is afor things to do. friendly and helpful host, ready with advice for walks and places to visit. Lots of information kept in files

Gostou Jon and Bernie gave us a great welcome with a drink and introductory chat. Facilities have recently been upgraded and were very homely. Pitches were a really good size and the dog walking area was very welcome. Very quiet and remote.

Não gostou As we are both walkers it would have been helpful to have some walks available from the site.

Gostou Quiet site in the touring pitches. Walk around the lakes.

Não gostou Site was not kept tidy and felt uncared for. A dustbin full of poo bags was left un-emptied. Private pitches seemed too close together. Didn't stay as weather was awful.

Do gerente: Hi Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are really disappointed with the low score however we have made some changes based on the review you have given us and would like to explain some of the points you commented on further so others can see what Twin Lakes France is really like. You happened to arrive in the middle of the worst rain we have had in France since we arrived here 4 years ago. Everything was so wet we couldn't complete any ground work. With that in mind and battling the leaves falling from the trees from the storms and rain everything did look a bit unkept due to the fact we couldn't go out to tidy it up. Since the rain has started to slow down a bit we have started the long task of tidying up over the winter months but with only the two of us to complete these tasks it will take us sometime. The outside of the bar area also looked a bit bare as we have had to store away all of the tables and chairs again so they don't get ruined in the weather Since you have departed the bin has been taken away, we need to take our truck over to collect it and with the soft ground we couldn't risk out truck getting stuck in the mud. What we are really disappointed with is the low customer service. We chatted to you both and you seemed happy. In future, please go and speak to the owners of a campsite if you have a problem, our phone number is displayed at the entrance of the site and at the bar so we are accessible 24/7. We are approachable and we want to make Twin Lakes France the best we possibly can so feedback to us is essential. Since your departure, we have updated our description on PitchUp to include the following information 'Please be aware in the winter months facilities such as the bar/restaurant/shop may be closed when you are onsite. It is also out time to complete maintenance on the site before the season opens in April so please excuse any mess or disruptions to the site. Due to the colder weather we have to isolate water points around the site, your access to a water point will be a short walk from the camping field.' This is so people are aware of the changes over the winter months. I also personally send out an email to each customer explaining how to gain access to the site. Safe travels.

Gostou Friendly and helpful staff at the office, as we arrived late after a long journey. Our site was well sized and level. Quiet and peaceful site deep in the rural countryside.

Não gostou Showers and toilets a bit dated but clean and functional.
