Gostou Lovely site and owners very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Missed our bus into Kingsbridge and Bev gave us a lift down in the car - so kind and thoughtful. Pitches are fully serviced and spacious, with nicely fenced off separation between each pitch. Facilities are very clean and well kept and the honesty shop is brilliant and very well stocked and reasonable priced. Also free tea/coffee and biscuits in the 'The Cowshed' social room. All-in-all we had a lovely stay on this quiet adults only site and would return and highly recommend without hesitation.

Gostou Convenience of location to Castle Howard with lakeside walk.

Não gostou Excessive noise from the very early crow activity within the wooded section of the campsite. Also, the lack of privacy around the lakeside gate entrance with several dog walkers disrespecting our pitch and walking and talking very close to our motorhome and slamming the gate in the early hours. I would have at least expected a dedicated path to the gate and away from the motothome pitches.

Do gerente: Thank you for your review and we're pleased to know you enjoyed the convenience of our location to Castle Howard as well as the beautiful lakeside walks. We are in a very rural location and are surrounded by local wildlife that can vary throughout the seasons. Sorry the gate slammed shut but it is designed to shut to keep children safe. We will pass on your feedback to the relevant teams.

Gostou Location was excellent for harbour area with a easy walk in. Good serviced and level pitches with very clean shower and toilet facilities and large shower cubicles with instant hot water.

Não gostou Not much to dislike, however perhaps the men's showers could do with a lick of paint.
