Do gerente: Hi Nicola, Its a real shame you chose to review us like this - and i feel i need to clarify a couple of things for anyone reading this who hasnt been before: the camping field is flat at the top which is where people normally pitch up, you chose to park down on the slope... And there is a handrail on the compost toilets, just not on both sides of the stairs. We can't please everyone I guess but its not necessary to post incorrect info.

Gostou The owner Ian is very helpful, there’s a hot shower & toilets that are immaculately clean & so is the site would definitely recommend

Gostou Easy to check in I had a very spacious pitch the toilets showers washing up areas & a washing machine plus tumble dryers was an absolute bonus were all immaculate & cleaned regularly throughout the day the staff were friendly & the pool was an added bonus for the price I paid this campsite is up there on my favourites list & I will definitely be back

Não gostou Nothing really to dislike however I turned up with no change for the washing machines so had to go a mile & a half to get change so possibly a facility to do a transfer for some change just to make it even better

For future visits - we have a change machine in our games room! You could have also call us on the number given to you on arrival and we would have been happy to sort you out with some change.

Do gerente: Hi Nicola. I am so sorry the campsite was not to your liking, we didn't manage to get to see you personally so that might have helped you to find the second tap. Most campers love our back-to-basics campsite and find the wild hay meadow endearing. We like to support nature, and we recognise that un-mown grassy areas are a nature's haven. It is also our unique way of providing a spacious feel of what the (equivalent of) 1 acre per pitch provides for people. Again, really sorry it was not for you.

Gostou The Landlord was so helpful a really nice man & the Pods & facilities were clean & tidy good shower would definitely stay again if we were in the area 😊

Não gostou No food but we bought a Chinese & brought it back to the pub & the landlord provided plates & cutlery & we ate in the pub 😊
