Size of the site, the space the flexibility.

Didn't realy have anything to dislike, other than flying bitty things.

Lovely space, great customer service, clean bathrooms and showers and hot water. Delightful!

Large site, lots of water points on the electric pitches

Very misleading web page and searches when trying to research the site. Facilities advertised online are all closed this year. A few play parks for the kids would make all the difference. However it was a tidy, flat camp site with great access to the river.

We loved the space, freedom to pitch wherever you wanted to (non elec) and the toilet block which had lots of cubicles (never had to queue) was cleaned regularly and was modern.

It would have been helpful to have access to a freezer for ice packs. We stayed for 8 nights and at the weekends it was very noisy with amplified music from loud groups, lots of cars /motorbike driving around the site. This was just at weekends - during the week it was calm and quiet and a lovely site.
The washing up area was good (lots of sinks) but they were very low down.

Spacious pitches, easy hook up for electric, quiet site which was perfect for young children.
The check in process was nice and quick. All special requests online were adhered to on arrival

The facilities were not very clean and looked like they needed upgrading. Online stated a park on site but this was not sign posted and we could not find anything

Good pitch and good access to a lovely river walk and bus stop. Also, Brewers Fayre pub next to site which was very friendly and welcoming by staff and locals. Overall lovely big site, plenty of space for non electric camping.

Staff member on duty didn't have any information about things to do, local transport etc, the site was not really as advertised on website, The Hop Farm was not as expected. They couldn't tell us where local shop was and didn't advise us about the pub or river walk, we found that out for ourselves.

The Hop farm is a large space with plenty of open fields for the kids to run around and enjoy without getting in anyone else's way. We stayed on an electric point which was great, flat and with easy access to water and not too far from bins and recycling. We loved being able to access the river for fishing and caught quite a few (mainly dace and perch). This is definitely a site where you need to bring your own fun as there are not any of the typical activities you find on-site such as a play area. This would be great for large groups as you could (at the time we went) have a field to yourself! It is also a great location to reach other local attractions. We went to Bodiam castle and the Tenterden steam railway.

Group opposite using the water point for washing up when there was a clearly marked washing up area! Camping manners people!
