There is also a bus service Arriva 6 that calls at the entrance. We were met by a friendly member of staff and our pitch was on the edge of the site which was nice. If you are used to "club" sites then you may not like this one as the hard stands are a bit rough and ready but we had a tap next to us so we could plug our hose onto it which was convenient. The site isn't laid out evenly, it's a series of fields where tents and caravans can pretty much park up where they like so it can look a bit messy, but we found everyone friendly, just getting on with camping out really.
Não gostou: Now this is a biggy, they have quite a modern shower/toilet block but for some reason they only clean it at weekends, and to be honest we didn't see that happen the weekend we were there. The site was busy over the weekend so the facilities weren't the best, we were fortunate to be able to use our caravan. Apart from emptying the bins there didn't appear to be anyone going around tending to the site so bits of litter were floating around. If they can address these issues then it would really make a big difference. Having said this we would go back but we'd be aware of this.

During the week we only had the larger outdated brick showers and toilets open as they have more cubicles.
As it was a very busy weekend we did not get many chances to do litter picking until the Sunday and Monday, with the electric pitches being full it was not possible to move in-between them to keep them tidy, however we do have spare bin sacks in the office if any campers require more and lots of bins around the site(extra staff would have been useful to keep the place tidy but it is extremely difficult just to employ someone for 1 week of the year).

The Hop Farm family park is closed for the whole of 2024 and when you book via pitch-up under the "Please note" section on the front page it says the visitor attraction/children rides are closed for refurbishment, this has been advertised since the beginning of January 2024.
There are a minimum of 10 dog bins around the site which get emptied on a weekly basis or when required.
