If so, set off for a stay at Falkensteiner Premium Camping Lake Blaguš, a well-equipped and well-maintained site in a forest on the eastern shoreline of lovely Lake Blagus. That lakeside setting makes this Pomurska site a particularly peaceful and pretty place to spend some time, whether you’re hoping to launch rowing boats, canoes or paddleboards on the lake (all of those are available to hire here), do some freshwater swimming or simply pack a picnic and settle on one of the lake jetties to dangle your feet in the water while sipping and snacking. And there’s another lovely way to soak up the waterside scenery here, as the site has a restaurant/café with a lakeside terrace – it’s open all day, serving up everything from breakfasts to light lunches to full dinners, plus hot drinks and local wines. Other facilities on site include a play area for kids, a sauna hut tucked away in the woods for frazzled grown-ups, a launderette, a food shop and an extensive wifi service to help you keep in touch and plan your days out. And where might those days out take you? Well, this location, a couple of minutes’ drive from Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici, is a lovely one for outdoor folk – there are plenty of lakes, mountains, forests and little villages to explore on your walks or bike rides and the wine-making city of Maribor is about half an hour’s drive away.

Gostou Unser Aufenthalt im Falkensteiner Premium Camping Lake Blaguš im Juni 2025 war ein voller Erfolg und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Als männliche Gruppe, die in einem Glamping-Zelt untergebracht war, waren wir vom Gesamtpaket restlos begeistert.
Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die makellose Sauberkeit der gesamten Anlage. Von unserem Zelt bis zu den Sanitäranlagen war alles perfekt gepflegt, was maßgeblich zu unserem Wohlbefinden beigetragen hat. Die umgebende Natur ist schlichtweg atemberaubend; der See und die grüne Umgebung bieten eine idyllische Kulisse für pure Entspannung. Dazu trug auch die wunderbare Ruhe bei, die man hier fernab vom Alltagsstress findet.
Das Personal an der Rezeption verdient ein besonderes Lob. Sie waren durchweg äußerst freundlich und unglaublich hilfsbereit, stets bereit, Fragen zu beantworten und Wünsche zu erfüllen. Dieser herausragende Service hat unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis empfanden wir als absolut stimmig und fair für die gebotene Qualität und die Annehmlichkeiten.
Ein absolutes Highlight war das sehr angenehme Wasser im See, das zum Schwimmen und Abkühlen einlud und für viel Freude sorgte. Wir können das Falkensteiner Premium Camping Lake Blaguš uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, da das gesamte Erlebnis – von der hochwertigen Unterkunft bis zum exzellenten Service und der wunderschönen Umgebung – einfach fantastisch war.

Não gostou Unser Aufenthalt im Falkensteiner Premium Camping Lake Blaguš im Juni 2025 hatte, trotz einiger positiver Aspekte, auch einige Punkte, die uns als männliche Gruppe im Glamping-Zelt gestört haben und Raum für Verbesserungen bieten.
Obwohl die Anlage insgesamt sauber war, gab es Details, die nicht optimal waren. Ein wesentlicher Kritikpunkt ist der Schotteruntergrund bei den Stellplätzen. Dies wirkt wenig einladend und ist für Barfußlaufen oder das Aufstellen von Outdoor-Möbeln weniger angenehm. Auch die relativ wenigen Grünflächen auf dem Gelände, insbesondere in der Nähe der Unterkünfte, trugen dazu bei, dass sich die Anlage stellenweise etwas karg anfühlte und das Gefühl von Naturcamping vermissen ließ. Man hätte sich hier mehr liebevolle Gestaltung gewünscht, um das Outdoor-Erlebnis zu intensivieren.
Insgesamt fühlen sich diese Punkte wie verpasste Gelegenheiten an, um das ansonsten gute Potenzial des Campingplatzes voll auszuschöpfen. Es gab Bereiche, die ein Upgrade oder mehr Aufmerksamkeit benötigen würden, um den Premium-Anspruch durchgängig zu erfüllen und das Erlebnis wirklich perfekt zu machen.

Gostou Beautiful site next to the lake. Dogs very welcomed. They were allowed to swim in the lake and sit having a meal with us ( on best behaviour and outside seating). The staff were amazing, so helpful and kind. This is a new upcoming site , no work was being done whilst we were there, but it’s going to be exceptional when finished. The outside sleeping huts were a bonus for extra guests staying.

Gostou Amazing lakeside location. Very peaceful. Lovely bar, restaurant area for relaxing.

Não gostou It's is a very new site, opening inly 2 months ago in summer 2024. It was extremely hot when we arrived, mid 30 degrees, and the touring site has no shade at all. This will probably improve as the planting matures.
The staff were lovely but the site was understaffed, we waited 30 minutes to check in, the breakfast buffet wasn't topped up regularly. Again, perhaps teething problems.

Não gostou Het restaurant was open tot 21u00. Wij kwamen er om 20u30 en de keuken was al dicht. Teleurstellend.

Residents at Živalski vrt Sikalu Zoo (15 minutes’ drive) include monkeys, kangaroos and iguanas, plus pygmy goats and assorted farmyard animals that are used to being petted. There are also ponds with koi carp, and peacocks strut around the lawn displaying their colourful tails. Smaller beasties reside at Čebelarski muzej (20 minutes), a beekeeping museum with a collection of items including a beehive dating from the 19th century, hand smokers and other beekeeping tools. At the on-site shop you can stock up on delicious own-produced honey, honey liqueurs and beeswax candles. Maribor (half an hour) has a 15th-century castle that now houses the Regional Museum, with collections of musical instruments, weapons and uniforms among other artefacts. Along the river Drava, the oldest vine in the world (planted in the Middle Ages and certified by the Guinness Book of Records) grows against the wall of the Hiša Stare trte (Old Vine House).
