Peace and space? First-rate facilities? A family vibe among the green surroundings of the North Brabant region and the spectacular wildlife haven of the Beek valley and the nearby forests and moorlands of the Kempen? Obviously these will tick any sensible sort's holiday boxes, so do arrange a trip to Eurocamping Vessem. Query the Dutch-, German- and English-speaking crew of this scenic family-friendly park for recommendations on where best to explore first in the area, from hikes in the surrounding forest to a potter around the old market of nearby Eersel, or play parks, museums and city sightseeing at Eindhoven within half an hour's drive. This big woodland park has a full summer programme of leisurely activities for all ages (think foam parties, kids' discos, card games and lively music evenings), alongside stacks of sports facilities: think huge pétanque area, paved street football courts, beach volleyball and tennis. One of the most excellent features of this excellent family site is the number of playgrounds, set strategically around the grounds so that even impatient offspring never have to go far to get into their swings, sliding and climbing groove. The giant bouncing pillow should keep the most energetic occupied, and there's a fine on-site pond too, where all ages can try their luck fishing, or just waddle along to look at the ducks. Key to the site's success is its big pool, surrounded by a sun terrace and a paddling pool. For food, there's a café-bar, and a supermarket stocked with daily essentials.

Gostou: Environment propre, beau cadre boisé. Le personnel très professionnel et sympathique, Toilette propre, douche propre (sauf certaines personnes ne respect pas les chaussures dans les cabines)

Não gostou: Piscine très froide, faut interdire les chaussures dans les cabines de douches

Gostou: Het is een mooie ruime camping, ook voor campers die gewoon tussen de caravans staan en niet op een achteraf veldje. dit is zeker voor jongere kinderen een stuk fijner. Elk veldje zijn eigen wc gebouwtje. Er is/wordt behoorlijk geinvesteerd in vernieuwing. Mooie zwembaden, basic, maar wel verwarmd. Ondanks dat sommige gebouwtjes behoorlijk gedateerd zijn is alles wel mooi schoon.

Gostou: Lovely site. Clean facilities. Great Pool and tasty pizza. Had a nice walk in to Vessem for lunch. Very friendly and helpful staff. Laundry great. Did not use shop as missed opening hours. Free WIFI. Showers €0.50 lovely and hot and not busy

Gostou: Friendly, great facilities and always clean. The kids loved the pools, the bouncing pillow and the golf which was all included. The ice creams and food was good and reasonably priced too.

Não gostou: There was a shop but it was never open and looked like there was next to nothing in there. A good shop would have been great as the walk into the town was a little too far for kids.

Gostou: Amazing site with lots to do, WiFi included in price throughout the site. outside swimming pools, crazy golf, farm area with deers, chicken & other animals.Table tennis, volleyball, foosball,bouncy pillows, lots of parks throughout the site dor children, toilets dotted everywhere you're never far away from one. Clean Shower blocks. There's also an area with washing machines & tumbles for a small charge. Takeaway on site that does fish and chips along with a few other things and a little shop with daily essentials. Theres a club/var area with outside seating, dogs are alsk allowed inside where you can grab some snacks,listen to music,play pool or use the games machines. At the far end of the site there are lakes you can fish in. The site is set in beautiful woodland that give alot of shade should you want it from the sun. On the motorhome pitches there's electric hookup and water available. You can fill up your water, and next to the shower blocks there are multiple Blackwater emptying areas. Supermarkets just 7 mins away. We stopped through for 2 nights on the way home and instead of moving to the next site we had booked for the last night we decided to stay on a 3rd night. We needed to get our dogs wormed ready for the journey home so rang the local vets who spoke great English (varkensdierenartsen.com) they fitted us in only an hr later for an amazing price of £68 for 3 dogs. A 3rd of what we have paid elsewhere. We will definitely be returning to the site. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Não gostou: Theres nothing to dislike, WiFi can be a bit iffy in some places but i think that's due to the forest location, if you click in and out It resets ok. i do wish they had more washing machines and dryers though. 2 of each isnt enough for a site of this size they were always being used.

These green and peaceful surroundings are splendid for cycling for all ages: hire a bike from the Eurocamping Vessem team to pedal around the nearby forest trails, or on some of the 229 kilometres of moorland to the north of the site at the Neterselse Heath. Local town Eersel is in the famed Kempen area, a natural region in the south-eastern Netherlands stretching across to north-eastern Belgium. Part of it includes the pine forest, rivers and heathland of the Hoge Kempen Nationaal Park, and its 200 kilometres of walking trails, guided ranger tours, 100-metre high peaks and paths for cycling and horse riding. Beekse Bergen, with its zoo, water play area and kid-friendly attractions, is less than half an hour by car, and there are more indoor and outdoor rides, play areas and slides at the Dippie Doe carnival family park at Best. For another great family day out, the magical world of the Efteling theme park is a 40-minute drive away.
