You may be tempted by the spell of the Pordenone countryside. Or you may be reeled in by Friuli-Venezia Giulia's scenic lakes, nature reserves and waterfalls. Whatever your elixir, you’ll be well based to get going from Gelindo dei Magredi, a dog-friendly site in Vivaro with the wide spaces of a farm and the flavours of the countryside. At this site, nature feels very close by. The farm is a cheerful, carefree place where you’ll be able to learn about the value and traditions of past generations that continue through the site. There are activities here to help you rear that really rural feel, including children’s cooking, horse riding and horse-drawn carriage rides. Pick your preferred spot to unwind… perhaps a paddle in the outdoor swimming pool? A meal in the restaurant on-site? Or a visit to look at the crops around the farm? There’s a communal area on site or you may want to simply kick back on your pitch with the trees above you. You won’t need to start the car or walk for some splendid eats, as there are restaurants, pizza places and shops within walking distance of the site. Half an hour’s walk away, you’ll reach the scenic lake of Torrente Meduna too. But if you do want to jump into the car, a little further out, Maniago (15 minutes’ drive) is suited to a deep dive into art, history or its castle.

Gostou Mieliśmy miejsce pod winoroślami. Duża przestrzeń. Mogliśmy wybrać parcelę. Mieliśmy dostęp do wody i do prądu. Można przechodzić się po farmie. Doglądać świnek, osła i konie. Są żółwie, kaczki i ryby. Pod nadzorem karmiliśmy konie jabłkami. Piękne miejsce. Podczas pobytu ma się dostęp do basenu i brodzika. Przyjemna zimna woda.
Serdecznie polecam. Jestem oczarowana kempingiem.

Não gostou Tylko jedna toaleta i prysznic. Przy większym obłożeniu może to byc kłopotliwe.

Gostou Lovely site overall. Friendly staff- very welcoming. We booked for dinner at the restaurant which was exceptionally good.. service was fantastic.

Não gostou Being woken up at midnight to loud music- there was an event being held on site and strangely they decided to ramp the music up gone midnight. This went on till almost 2am. I find it very bizarre they would do this given there was so many campers. Also note we were located quite a distance from the building the event was being held. I would suggest that if they are having events they don’t have the music so loud. Or at least not have it beyond 10pm. Before this I thought the site was great. Now I would never return and would discourage anyone from going. We are relaxed campers but that really took the biscuit.

Good site, but just seemed a bit dis-orienting.

Gostou Water and EHU on each pitch. Large pitches that easily accommodated awnings. Good pool.

Não gostou One toilet and one shower seemed to cover the motorhome pitches.
Really tight entry. For a few minutes thought that I had come in the wrong entrance.
For a non-Italian speaker, it was slightly confusing.
Horse event on when I was there, not a problem at all with that but a bit in your face.

Gostou I can imagine this is a good site for families in summer.

Não gostou Despite us being the only van on site it was so noisy at night. People outside at 1am and a cockerel crowing all night long. Bad mosquitos too. The pool did not look like the pictures.

Gostou Es war sehr schön Strom und Wasser in Preis inklusive die Plätze sind in Parzellen angelegt was wir sehr positiv fanden.Pool war super es gab ein Willkommens Getränk und Abschieds Geschenk. Die Kinder und wir haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt Personal war super freundlich.

Não gostou Die Sanitäranlagen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Gostou We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door het behulpzame personeel wat ons (Engels sprekend) op weg hielp o.a. bij onze trip naar Venetië. De uiterst mooie camping biedt zeer ruime, bijna romantische, plaatsjes omringt door druivenranken, appelbomen, etc. Het is een World Heritage locatie die o.a. huis biedt aan een manege en boomgaarden en is een vorm van kamperen bij de boer. De camping ligt op een uur rijden van Venetiē en is prima uitvalbasis daarvoor.
Naast dit alles heeft de camping ook nog een prima restaurantje waar je relatief goedkoop lekker kan eten.
We zouden hier zeker terugkomen. Het is een zeer idilische camping. Erg fijn.

Não gostou Omdat het kamperen bij de boer is is het sanitair redelijk verouderd maar niettemin prima op orde. Een warme krachtige straal in ruime douches, maar verouderd.

Atrações locais

You’ll already know that there’s pretty sublime lake scenery within walking distance of the site, but there’s plenty more in this region too. Perhaps you’ll want to take a leisurely bicycle ride on the trail around Lago di Ravedis (20 minutes’ drive)? Lago di Santa Croce has swimming, kitesurfing and windsurfing (an hour) a little further afield but if you’d rather stay on dry land, Barcis (half an hour) is a rather handsome village on the shore of Lake Barcis. Activities aren’t just about lakes or watersports around here, though. Riserva naturale Forra del Cellina (25 minutes) is a nature reserve with a gorge and eco-climbing. Andreis’ (half an hour) speciality is vernacular architecture and walking spots. Meanwhile, Piancavallo (35 minutes) has a nice set-up as a ski resort for alpine and cross-country skiing. You might fancy pottering around some prehistoric archaeological sites too. If so, Pradis Grotte (40 minutes) is your place – with caves and waterfalls too. History also plays a major role in Udine (45 minutes) too, where there are museums, art galleries, Renaissance buildings and a cathedral. Or of course, Venice (an hour and 20 minutes) has a landmark cathedral, canals and ornate footbridge.
