Gostou On a fait une halte de 1 nuit afin d'être tranquille et nous avons trouvé notre bonheur avec les enfants. Cet endroit est reposant avec une vue magnifique. Les sanitaires sont propres.

Gostou Outstanding location, good size pitches, nicely spaced out and flat, next to an incredibly beautiful lake. Watched the sunrise the next day over the water.

Welcoming and efficient staff, very clean facilities, friendly campers.

Even though it was grey and raining when I arrived I had a quick dip in lake up the road, the water was so pure!

Gostou Campsite pitch was amazing right in the lakeside. Fireworks that evening on the lake.

It’s true that swimming is not allowed directly from the campsite, but we provide free tickets to the beach, only a 5-minute walk away. As for the facilities, there is indeed only one block, but it is usually more than enough for the size of our small family campsite.

Gostou Lovely small site on a beautiful lake. Arrived in our VW crafter, stayed for two nights. We brought our own paddle boards. €9 to use the lake by scanning the QR code on the sign.

Não gostou Toilets - unisex, common in France however, urine all over the toilet seat each time I visited the WC.
Would highly recommend having male and female toilets - a simple sign on the doors. I shouldn't have to clean urine from the seat.

Gostou Le calme

Não gostou Interdiction de se baigner. Sois disant à cause d’une bactérie mais le fond de l’histoire est un gros problème de voisinage. Par contre on nous a renseigné que l’on pouvait se baigner a peine à 50 m du camping. Reste que c’est un magnifique endroit. 2 emes visites mais la dernière.

Merci d’avoir pris le temps de laisser votre avis.
Je tiens simplement à préciser que je ne pense pas que ce soit une personne du camping qui vous ait indiqué que la baignade était interdite à cause d’une bactérie. La réalité est que la baignade est interdite au pied du camping par arrêté préfectoral, car le lac est privé. C’est donc la société qui en est propriétaire qui définit les zones autorisées.

En effet, comme vous l’indiquez, une plage aménagée et sécurisée pour la baignade se trouve à seulement quelques mètres du camping, ce qui permet de profiter du lac en toute tranquillité.

Nous espérons malgré tout que vous avez apprécié votre séjour dans notre cadre naturel au bord du lac.

Gostou Nothing
Showers and toilets weren’t clean. No toilet paper. Couldn’t even be bothered to show us to a pitch. Gave us some numbers to choose a pitch from and all but 1 were taken. Claims to have a shop, it does not. Has some ice cream, a few bottles of beer, and some jars with homemade items in. Be aware if you go on a Monday the local shop and restaurant is closed. Locals made it quite obvious they do not like foreigners.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. You stayed with us from August 11th to 12th, a period when the campsite was almost fully booked, which explains the limited choice of available pitches. Regarding local shops, it is true that Mondays in France are usually quieter since many of them are closed.

We are sorry that your one-night stay left you with a negative impression. Our facilities are cleaned several times a day, and most of our guests actually highlight their cleanliness, but we of course take your remarks into account in order to keep improving.

Our campsite is a small, family-run place, deliberately simple and friendly, which many people appreciate but may not match everyone’s expectations. As for the pitches, we prefer to let guests choose from those available rather than assigning them.

We still hope you keep good memories of your stay at Lake Paladru and that the rest of your trip in France went well.

Gostou Excellent new toilet and shower block. Helpful staff and lovely daily bread to order. Very peaceful.

Não gostou Locals in the town did not like tourists and made this obvious.
