Camping L'Orée d'Azur

There’s absolutely tons of lush and lovely stuff to do along the coast and further inland around the Provençal countryside within easy reach of Camping L'Orée d'Azur. For outdoorsy days, go canyoning, rafting, climbing, go-karting, horse riding and hiking in the surrounding locale, or tee off at the 18-hole golf courses in nearby Opio Valbonne and La Grande Bastide. Venture over to Cannes, famed for its film festival, boutique shops and delis, swanky bars and salubrious restaurants, or to Nice to stroll along its famed seven-kilometre Promenade des Anglais or around its Old Town and swish shopping options. More poshness can be purveyed over in Monaco too, for it’s filled with luxury shops and restaurants and is home to the Circuit de Monaco and the opulent 12th-century Prince's Palace of Monaco. Family outings to several coastal spots are easy to organise from here: take the tiddlers over to Antibes to visit its famed Marineland aquarium and meet sea lions, dolphins and sharks (you’ll get to swim with all three, should you be brave enough), and finish the day off with a visit to the waterpark nearby; it’s got a lazy river to float along and a highly windy 12.5-metre toboggan slide to shoot down, so there’s lots to give tiny peeps plenty to do in the water while grownups laze around on the solarium alongside.
