Camping Plein Sud

Gostou: Staff great and very helpful, good size pitch for our van and tent/ awning. Short walk to the beach, sandy and level. Lots of cycle paths nice town with shops. Use of indoor and outdoors pool across the road at another campsite along with steam room and sauna.

Não gostou: No handwashing soap in toilets, no loo roll.

Gostou: The layout of the site was good with each pitch having adequate privacy without being isolated from other campers. The site facilities were ideal for us being grandparents with 4 year old grandson.

Gostou: We really liked the pool and the proximity to the beach which was 20 minutes walk away.

Não gostou: There wasn’t an onsite shop as sorts, so you had to drive to everything.

Gostou: Le côté familial du camping, notre emplacement était grand et ombragé, nous étions à côté des sanitaires et des aires de jeux pour les enfants. L'animatrice du mini club était exceptionnelle, ma fille a adorée sa semaine. Les animations proposées par le camping étaient très sympas. Une superbe équipe de l'accueil à l'entretien, très sympathique et bienveillant.

Não gostou: Pas vraiment d'endroit pour les ballades de nos chiens du matin et soir, en bordure de départemental

Gostou: Generous pitches, each with their own electric and water. Good entertainment if you want it. Really close to an awesome beach and also close to the cycle routes. Wish we had stayed longer!

Não gostou: Children would have liked a better pool (slides etc) but we thought it was nice. Clean and well presented.

Gostou: Pool was clean and staff were friendly.

Não gostou: Very difficult to manoeuvre a car and caravan - either 2 right angle bends or a hairpin bend. No on site bakery. All Boulangerie goods had to be reserved a day before from the sister site across the road. No shop on site and the one in the sister site had approximately 11 items. WiFi non existent. Site size was neat.

Gostou: Incredibly clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Kids loved the swimming pool and facilities.

Gostou: The large landscaped pitch with services (tap, grey water drain) actually on the pitch. The cycle riding in the area was scenic with a lot of it off road. The beach was only a short ride or walk away and it was very nice. Very helpful staff.

Não gostou: The chemical toilet emptying point was not the best. It was very cramped with difficult access to lift the drain cover. I used a tent peg extractor! The free wifi was very poor and couldn't cope on an evening presumably when greater demands were placed on it. Luckily the mobile data signal was strong.
