Do gerente: Thank you very much for this positive comment. About the shade, especially now with the heat and the drought, all of the shady pitches are already booked. When the weather is cooler, all the sunny spots are in demand, it is alsways like that but we have many pitches with shade at Chanteloup ;)

Gostou Beautiful area and grounds. Not loud but friendly atmosphere. Staff friendly and helpful. Not there long enough to fully use facilities. Very clean

Gostou Everything! This site is so relaxing, set in the most beautiful surroundings. The owner and all the staff we came across were really friendly and very helpful. We unfortunately had a mechanical issue with our car and nothing was too much trouble for the owner, she contacted a local mechanic (twice) who came to our pitch and she translated between us.
The site is spacious and clean, the bar and shop are well stocked. The pool is the perfect size with plenty of sunbeds and chairs around it.
Our dog loved walking around the woodland trails and the pond area.
The children had great fun in the play area especially on the zip line and the trampolines.
If you're looking for a site in the heart of the french countryside to relax and unwind while having enough to amuse the children then this is the place. We will definitely be back.

Gostou We received a lovely welcome. The pool was a perfect temperature and the restaurant served very good food. The perfect stop before going to Le Mans classic.

Gostou So dog friendly,treats for my dog on arrival,nice private pitches in the shade if wanted,lovely bar situated in the chateau plus games room,lovely outside seating areas,amazing restaurant and shop,lovely wooded areas for walking your dog,will visit again just amazing

Do gerente: Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you did not like your stay at Chanteloup, in the last few days before the campsite closes. The sanitary bloc was at 200 meters from your pitch and you're probably the only one complaining about the water temperature, we don't quite understand what could have happened and we are sorry for you.

Gostou What a chance finding! We stayed in Chanteloup due to it being a reasonable drive from Calais (~4 hours), which was about all the children could manage in one trip. We stayed during the final week of the season and we particular loved how quiet the site was. The staff were a fantastic help, the apartment was well stocked and had everything we needed, and the whole vibe was very relaxing (barely any rules, which was a plus compared to some campsites that I have stayed at in the past). The pool area was very tranquil, and the proximity to things to do was also great (we visited Papéa Park, theme park and water park for the day).
