Não gostou Only one small toilet and shower block with only 2 toilets and showers in each for the whole camp. Too far away from the touring pitch.

Gostou Waschhaus sauber und neuwertig. Netter Empfang (vorher per Mail auch Info's bekommen. Alles hinterlegt, da belgischer Nationalfeiertag. Kennzeichenerfassung eingerichtet, alles funktionierte). Rasenplatz, ausreichend groß. Nähe zum Strand (fußläufig, wenige Minuten). Strab Haltestelle vor der Tür. Nähe zur Uferpromenade mit unzähligen Bars und Restaurants (wir waren mit Rädern am Start, daher eh kein Problem). Radtour nach Brügge (17km), 99% Radwege...

Não gostou WLAN-Signal recht schwach. Rund um Empfang super, aber nicht am Platz.

Gostou Die Lage des Camping- Platzes ist gut (Umgebung).
Der Stellplatz (Pitch) für unseren Caravan war eindeutig zu klein. Wir hatten Mühe, mit dem Heck nicht auf der Straße zu stehen. Von daher sehr ungemütlich.
Die Sanitäranlagen sind OK, aber für´s Duschen zusätzlich zu bezahlen ist nicht OK. Die Anzahl der Duschen ist zu gering. Für das Gesamtangebot ist dieser Stellplatz zu teuer.

No privacy.
Very good connection with tram & trains close to the site.

Pleasant walk through the dunes to the beach and sunset views
Close to 5min walk to tram stop and 25min walk to town - great location
Large sites with grass
Surrounded by other tents rather than motor homes
WiFi available for free

Não gostou Basic facilities - no camp kitchen
Amenities block is located at the front of the property which is a walk from the tents it's (located at the near of the property)
Few trees - exposed in sun and close to neighbours

Gostou Site is within walking distance to the town, across the road from the dunes and beach and there’s a tram stop just up the road.
The toilets and showers were clean.
I have ticked yes to stay again and recommend to a friend, on the basis, there’s not the music going on in the next field, (see my dislikes below)

Não gostou I’m not sure if this happens every weekend, but there was a huge marquee set up in a field nearby and the music was non stop until 2 am on both Friday and Saturday nights. We are in a camper van so you’re virtually in a tent with the bed in the pop up roof and it was impossible to get off to sleep with the thumping bass of the music. There are only 2 showers and toilets, which based on the size of the site is not enough. They don’t use commercial toilet paper in the holders, just individual toilet rolls they put out on the side, which ran out on 2 of the 3 nights we were there. One time I went into the men’s toilet to pinch one of their spare rolls! After running out once, I went prepared with my own roll thereafter.
Some pitches are very small and difficult to find as they’re not all numbered. We were initially put on a pitch that was impossible to find and when we did eventually find it, it was very cramped and difficult to manoeuvre if all the other pitches had been in use. When we arrived in the evening we took the punt to switch to another pitch as the site was went full. We went to reception the next day to advise that we’d moved pitch and fortunately we had not taken anyone else’s. I was surprised to learn that they had charged us another €12.50 per night for this other pitch which I thought was expensive, especially as the site wasn’t full!

Thank you for your valuable feedback. The music did not come from us but from a nearby festival. We are sorry that this caused you inconvenience, but unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it. The additional charge you mention was not for changing your pitch, but for tourist taxes, environmental taxes and showers, as indicated on PitchUp. This must always be paid on site. We hope to welcome you back in the future in peaceful circumstances.
