Gostou Communication before arrival was excellent, easy access to site, efficient showers in block, good night’s sleep, short drive to amenities and attractions, clean facilities the morning after we arrived, all aspects maintained and working, easy departure.

Não gostou - Shower block was not so clean at night.
- Queueing for the shower in the morning inside the block not pleasant experience.
- Mixer taps on sinks would be more convenient over sinks (and save water).

Gostou Stayed here in our motor home with the wife and 2 kids. A quiet, clean, well respected site. Pitches were trimmed and mostly level. Park for the kids, football posts up on a flat field. All enclosed. Facilities clean and stocked. The views if you pitch right are incredible! We would definitely come here again.

Gostou The views from the campsite were amazing, showers and toilets were really clean and there was plenty of room to get changed. Sink area also clean. Facilities were great and the owner was really friendly when we chatted one morning. Location is also superb as it was easy to get to anywhere on Anglesey from the campsite, right next to A5 and A55.

Sŵ Môr Môn (Anglesey Sea Zoo)
Newborough nature reserve & beach
LlanfairPG (massive Co-op here that had everything you might need!)

Short drive to Red Wharf Bay, Point Lynas, Traeth Lligwy and Benllech to the East, or Rhosneigr and Trearddur Bay to the West.

Não gostou Only very minor downsides were:

a) the road noise and trains sounding horns in the night - you can easily remedy this with earplugs though. I was used to it by the second night and slept like a log!
b) lots of stones in the ground so it took a lot of effort to put the tent pegs in - you can get around this by using the more robust hardstanding pegs though.

We couldn’t get on the wi-fi but I don’t class that as a negative as I like to unplug when we go camping!

Gostou The shower facilities were really clean and tidy and were constantly being checked and replenished. A lovely site to stay on. Very pleasant, tentative and respectful staff. Grass cuttings were also collected so there was no grass treading through the outfit.

Não gostou Not really a “dislike” but other available pitches weren’t used to spread guests out so that we weren’t on top of eachother. We had a tent so close I thought he was trying to avoid pitch fees and attach to us as an awning! 😬

Não gostou Could have a drive over grey waste area for motorhome. The email welcoming us for our stay and advising of our pitch number arrived after we left, there is no new arrivals area marked out so didn't know where to go and got told we couldn't park were we were as wasn't our pitch but if we aren't sent the email how do we know?
Biten by horseflies about 20 times whilst washing up
Can hear the A55 from all over the site

Gostou Good facilities, toilets and showers. Roomy pitch, fully serviced, with views of mountains. Good access from main roads.
Good location for visiting main tourist spots on the island.
Shops within a couple of miles.
Good phone and tv reception, WiFi reasonable.

Não gostou Had no contact with site owners but had no problems so not an issue.
Not much within walking distance.

Reception Team are really friendly
Very clean and tidy
Modern toilet and shower facilities with very, very hot water!
Generous size pitches although some are on a bit of a slope

Não gostou The constant noise of traffic from the A5, A55 and Mainline train services all of which run very close to this site
