Llwyn Ffynnon Caravan Park

Gostou Greeting to pitch by site staff was good, friendly and helpful.
Facilities for all waste disposal was decent.
Other pitches in other field looked better spaced with hedges between. Mightve had a better experience in one of those pitches.
Shower block was kept very clean which was good for toilets but just a shame about the water situation during our stay

Não gostou No water in shower block for first day. Showers not very warm when block had water running the following day even after multiple presses of button. Window open in block, unable to shut, also made it shivery and cold. Was glad we only had a short stay with the shower facilities as they were.

Pitch we were given was fairly close to both neighbours despite no awning used by us. One of the neighbours decided playing loud rock music at 7am for a considerable length of time was acceptable. Thankfully the genre was decent but it felt like a lack of consideration at the volume and length of time it was played at. Maybe as we weren't a seasonal pitch unlike them and others nearby they didn't feel they needed to be more considerate.

Lots of mess at the back of seasonal pitches making it difficult to access water etc.

Gostou What a site this is. We had a large number of guests on the 1 booking over a busy bank holiday period and they couldn’t have done more to accommodate for us.
It’s clear to see the effort put in by the owners and the team, with so much to do all without leaving the site. Incredible pub with live sport on site, live music, great food, bonfire, kareoke and more. This caters for anybody looking for a great trip away with family or friends.
Would highly recommend anybody to book this site! We will be returning.

Gostou Beautiful site and really friendly staff. Loved the Peg and Mallet pub. Great atmosphere and the food from the take away station was to die for.

Short drive into Pwllheli which has some amazing cafes for delicious breakfasts.

This was our first stay here but most definitely won’t be the last. We’ve already recommended the site to numerous people.

Gostou Beautiful site, Trevor met us at the gate and was really welcoming and friendly. He had put a lot of thought into where we should pitch our tent, near to facilities and sheltered from the wind. He even lent us an extension for our power cable so it reached the hook up point. The bathrooms were well laid out, clean and warm. The food from the van was lovely, and the pub is wonderful too. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be back!!

Gostou The pitch we had was great and staff were friendly. The site is very laid back with very few rules. The fact the provide fire pits for free is such a rarity and definitely appreciated. When clean (see disliked) the facility block was good, the showers were warm although push button.

Não gostou The only thing was the day we arrived there was an event on with live music and lots of people who were not staying on the park. The issue was that we were not told about this when booking, it would have been nice to have been sent a quick email to tell us. I'm not certain it would have changed our minds about booking at the time but in hindsight it definitely would as there was a lot of noise and a lot of very drunk people until the small hours of the morning. This also put a lot of pressure on the toilets which meant they were pretty bad for the duration of the event and for much of the following day. However, after that event we had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Gostou On our way to the Caravan Park, Trevor called us asking us what time we would be there so he could greet us on arrival. Trevor greeted us at the gate when we got there and showed us the available pitch spaces. Trevor was so friendly and kind and the site spaces were big and spacious to park your car alongside the pitch. Pitch was level also.

The site was very tidy, with showers with warm water and toilets available to the front of the caravan park, located next to The Peg & Mallet Pub.

There is also an onsite takeaway van called Grumpy Grub which is open from 5pm to 8.30pm on a Friday and a Saturday and it serves burgers, sausages, half roast chickens, chips, kebabs, curry, and some other foods.

Onsite there are also 2 washers and 2 dryers as well as washing up facilities. The cheapest wash load was £3 and the most expensive being £3.40. The dryer was £2 for 30 minutes and not ideal for maybe more than 2 big towels to dry off. Prices for the washer/ dryer was more than reasonable.

We just absolutely loved the site. There is also a fishing lake Which the rods were £5 a day to hire.

Great distance to stay if wanting to visit Pwllheli or Nefyn or any neighbouring villages by car.

Gostou Location, close to lots of nice areas in north Wales. No cost for campfire hire, just the wood. Small pub on site with good selection of beers.
