Gostou We loved how remote the site felt. Really wild and immersed in nature. It was nice to see a few other people but we wanted to feel like we were camping in the wild and it certainly did feel like that. Our Bell Tent (Tawny Owl) was fab, it had a shelter with table and cooking facilities next to it and the most amazing woodland firepit. It was close to an eco toilet and the main toilet was just a few minutes walk away too along with the washing up area.

Não gostou We were hoping the shower would be a bit more conventional, but like the idea of the one they have, which is like a portable one, but up at the shower block/

Gostou It was very peaceful, and the tent was clean. The host was friendly and the site is a real secluded paradise on the outside.

Não gostou We really didn't enjoy our stay, cut our loses didn't stay for the full time we booked. One night was enough.The tent was bitterly cold. No form of heating at all available and no electricity. The closest toilet was a compost toilet which is as terrible as it sounds. And you walk in dead darkness to get to anything when the sun goes down. But in all fairness to the host, all of this was as advertised. The pictures are a bit misleading though as you see a proper flushing toilet, and a wood stove inside a tent, but this is only for selected ones. So I booked based on the images. But after reading carefully, this was all advertised. I'm still quite disappointed, but this one was on me I guess. Know what you're getting into before you go.

Do gerente: It is regrettable that this customer did not read the full description of this tent, nor the Joining Pack we send out once we receive a booking. This helps customers understand what we provide, the proximity of our different facilities and what we recommend guests bring with them particulstly for those who are not regular campers! As a result they have clearly arrived under-prepared for the conditions and with expectations that would never be met by an off grid bell tent in a beautiful but unspoilt corner of Mid Wales. I particularly am sad that they did not discuss their problems with me before leaving (without telling us) as I would have been able to support them with further solar lighting and bedding packs. We had in fact slept onsite in a bell tent ourselves that night with our own young ones (2 and 5) and it was a cold night but with the right clothing and bedding/sleeping bags we were comfortable and enjoyed quality controlling our own tent! This family would probably have been happier in our yurts which do have wood burners and more lighting and bedding included- a gentler introduction to camping for inexperienced families!

Gostou The privacy and space of the pitches, it felt really lovely and secluded, but with access to communal spaces too. Access to flushing toilets and showers (drought depending haha) the location was lovely, and we really hope to return again soon

Gostou Everything! I’m still dreaming of the Shepherds hut and those fresh eggs. Honestly everything was perfect - the location (including of the hut we stayed in). Facilities in the hut and on the site were great - I especially liked the lodge area filled with games, books, garden toys and no WiFi - total sunmer camp vibes. We were there as a couple but I would 100% bring kids here. It felt secluded, but you were near enough other guests that it felt wild yet super safe. It’s clear to see the owners built this place with care and passion - every wee detail has been thought of and just when you think that’s it there’s more - juicy brambles right outside the door, their range of on site animals, and the star gazing seats outside the hut… And a shout out to their polite wee helpers bringing fresh daily ice packs! 5 stars.

Gostou The location was really peaceful and we enjoyed the privacy and wild camp feel. We also ordered a breakfast extra which was brilliant 🤩 we will definitely be back.
