Gostou Made to feel very welcome on arrival, the site is fantastic with amazing facilities and the hosts could not do enough for us..

Had a very comfortable stay, it was a cold time of year however we had a modern gas heater in the tent to keep us warm and outdoor fire pit which we made use of...

Gostou Maria is so friendly and helpful. Beautiful tranquil site, we loved the hammocks and fire pit.

Não gostou Didn't like their version of compost toilet of pooing into bag, and covering with your toilet paper, smell wasn't nice and I felt it unhygenic. Even though I'm sure its emptied regularly its all to close to the surface and highly visible. Surely a pit and sawdust would be better. Also there should be a door on the mens urinals, in this day and age was unacceptable.

I would like to say that our composting toilets are no different to most-they are essentially a box with a lined bucket for solid waste and a separator where pee can go into a soak away. When used correctly they are very effective, environmentally friendly and do not smell. We use to offer sawdust but we have found over the years that children on site tent to play with it and make a mess, so we just ask our guest to descretly cover with an extra layer of our compostable toilet paper and it works fine. I change the liners daily or twice daily depending on volume of campers. The urinals have privicay screens and are more than suitable, although you were parked directly opposite them which I thought at the time slightly unusual. Its unfortunate you wouldn't visit us or recommend us to others, I had a lovely chat with the lady you were travelling with and thought you were having a nice time too…..most people do!

Gostou Location was stunning
Bell tent was amazing, was clean bright and airy, really nicely decorated felt like a home away from home.
Outside kitchen was well stocked, we are complete rookies to camping with children and it had everything needed from two cookers, all plates and cutlery pan and frying pan, cool box and can wash up there.
Toilet was clean and nice to have a private one aswell as the ones at shower block which was also super clean and worked really well.
The place has a shed shop which is handy for any little bits or treats aswell as easy to buy wood using a qwerty code.

The best bit must be the host, Maria (I think sorry if wrong) was super friendly and welcoming, goes out of her way for you and really makes you feel at home.

Gostou The site was beautiful and quiet. Maria was lovely and friendly as well as her boys who help her out. The location is perfect for a quiet, peaceful holiday and it's not far from some wonderful places to explore like Hafren Forrest, Rhaydar Dam and the Llandlois town is perfect for a mooch and some pub grub. The belle tent was comfortable and felt homely. We could have stayed longer. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Gostou Excellent campsite and belle tent in a stunning location. Really friendly host and great communication. Dog friendly and a lovely peaceful location.

Gostou Location and accommodation are beautiful. Maria and family are excellent hosts and gave great recommendations of things to do during our stay.

Gostou The campsite is wonderfully peaceful. The river is a dream for playing in and the glamping tents are really well laid out.
The owner is the most helpful lady I have ever met!

Não gostou The public toilets may require checking a little more often to have bins emptied etc but I think the kind owner needs a little more support with the campsite as she is busy looking after guests.

Gostou The safari tent was perfectly set up for a family of 5. The views and site are beautiful and Maria goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. We stayed as an extended family and it couldn't have been a better place to do this.

Não gostou Slightly steep banks and step off of the safari tent decking just worth being aware of with very little children.
