Adicione os dados da sua empresaThere'll be no doubting that you're on holiday when you're at Forester’s Retreat Glamping – this gorgeous Ceredigion spot is a place where you'll wake up to fantastic views of the Cambrian Mountains and Dinas Reservoir. Set in 29 acres of farming land grazed by livestock, it’s designed as a peaceful rural retreat for adults only.
If you're after a bit of a digital detox, this is a fantastic option – there is no wifi and no phone signal here, so it’s a chance to go take some time out and reconnect with the landscapes around you. There are all manner of ways to get out into nature, including hill walking, running and cycling – but of course you can also just chill and contemplate the views. Fishing is also possible at the nearby Dinas and Nant y Moch reservoirs – just get a permit from the garage half a mile down the road in advance.
And the accommodation? It's all about maximum comfort, with top-quality king-size and sofa beds (linen supplied). The pod has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker and kettle, as well as an ensuite shower – just the job after muddy walks – with towels and hair dryer supplied. The cosy living area has a TV, but you may well find yourselves settling in front of the floor-to-ceiling glass doors to take in the views right out across the hills.
Surrounding the pod is a private and fenced garden area, with parking to one side, so you can laze in the fresh air, take in the gorgeous scenery and let your dog have a runaround safely without coming into contact with the farm’s livestock.

Active types can head up into the Cambrian Mountains (half an hour’s drive) for hilly walks and cycle rides, or hike up to Dinas Reservoir (15 minutes’ walk). Feeling like a high-speed challenge? Go bike scrambling at Sweet Lamb Adventure Rally Bike (15 minutes’ drive).
Nant-y-Moch Reservoir is a scenic spot for more peaceful strolls in untamed mountain scenery, while the Hafod Estate (both 15 minutes’ drive) has several woodland walks leading to tumbling waterfalls, or you can clamber up stone steps to the viewpoint to see Devil’s Bridge Falls (five minutes) as the water plunges into a gorge.
To get acquainted with local wildlife, watch magnificent red kites being fed on carrion at Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest Visitor Centre (five minutes), or stop off at New Quay Honey Farm (an hour) to see honeybee colonies in action and taste some of their produce. Alternatively, head down the road to visit an old Victorian silver mine at Silver Mountain Experience (five minutes).
