Anwoth Caravan Park

Gostou: Power supply was good and powered all the goods in the van. On site facilities were also good. There was even a bath in the shower block. All very clean. Chemical waste area was easy to use and good water strength to clean out the cassette. Dish washing area was clean and washing machine and tumble dryer were available although we didn’t use them. The site is within a few minutes walk from Gatehouse on Fleet, which has a Spar shop, hotels, restaurants and a selection of unique shops. There is a river walk and lovely spots to sit by the river. The site was so quiet and peaceful, the silence only punctuated by birdsong.

Não gostou: Hardstanding pitch has the power and water point in the middle of the pitch so had to use the pebbled area to avoid hitting it. My van is just 7.4m so longer vans would have to do the same.

Gostou: Spotlessly clean and modern facilities, fabulous location and friendly staff.

Não gostou: Only a minor dislike, but the pitches could be more appealing…..maybe less concrete and gravel and a bit more grass to sit out on?

Do gerente: We do have a few pitches with gravel on one side of the concrete base and grass on the other side. Maybe next time you book you could request one of these pitches and if available we can give you one of these pitches.

Gostou: Little gem of a campsite. Quiet location just next to Gatehouse of Fleet village. Excellent facilities, especially the toilet/shower block which in my opinion is 5* for a touring site. Very reasonable rates for tent pitch with electric hook-up. Also was very surprised to learn that the booking gave us access to the facilities at Auchenlarie Holiday Park. Definitely going to visit again.

Gostou: Very helpful staff, nice quiet location, park was clean and the toilet/shower block was immaculate.

Gostou: Peaceful, clean site. Warden as very friendly as were the other holiday makers and owners of surrounding caravans.Hired caravan was clean and comfortable. The outside furniture on the veranda was appreciated as the weather was fair. The space around the caravan was sufficient for two cars, five adults and a dog.

Do gerente: Thank you for your kind comments. We only mark out the pitches when it is really busy, if its not as busy we tend not to mark out the grass pitches so as to give the customer a bit more room. Hopefully we will see you again in the future.
