Gostou: The beautiful holiday park is terraced. The spacious, fully serviced motorhome pitches are at the bottom , many of them in a circle around a big tree opposite the swimming pool and the open entry area. That creates a feeling of individuality. The facilities are very clean and well maintained, the staff is very friendly and helpful. An ideal base for cycling and exploring the beautiful countryside.

Gostou: The welcome from wardens was excellent very friendly.

Não gostou: We where disappointed with the site , showing block was clean but very small and awkward . I definitely would not want to be there if I had any mobility issues as it was rough ground to the block and I think difficult to manover a wheelchair etc . Noisy crows in trees . Lacking landscape beauty, boring pitch . View to beyond ? Just .

Gostou: Peaceful and picturesque location. Helpful onsite manager (Bob) and helpful telephone staff when we got hopelessly lost!

Não gostou: Shower block a bit dated and cold but was clean. The site was very difficult to find due to lack of proper directions and to make matters worse, it is not even called Kippford View! The sign at the entrance says Banloch Caravan site (or something similar!) so we drove past it several times and had to ring the contact number head office in the end. We were disappointed that the village pub didn't serve food so there is nowhere nearby if you want to eat out :( Despite these niggles, we enjoyed our stay :)

Gostou: Really quiet site. Friendly welcome and stay kids loved the pool.Good pub short walk from site for food

Gostou: Close to the local small village which has a community run shop and café. The village pub provides good and reasonable priced meals. Friendly locals. A choice of several walks from here.

Não gostou: The unattractive pitch, which felt like being parked on an unfinished carpark partially enclosed by a high embankment. Steep steps which were uneven leading to an incomplete path to the shower block and chemical waste point with a steep embankment to negotiate. Not good at night and in wet weather especially for the elderly. One light at top of steps which was inadequate. No other lights. No provision for motorhome grey waste although upon telephone enquiry beforehand assurances were given that there was one. No shop as a stated benefit in their leaflet. A poorly produced photocopied information sheet giving the usual details but a missing site map on the reverse.

Gostou: The pool was a god send on arrival after 3 hours drive. The staff are very kind and after a hiccup on pitch ups side not sending our reservation over to the site, and luckily it hadn't been double booked so after a few calls it was all sorted.

Não gostou: Only thing would be, there are no cleaning products even a little carpet sweeper would be good with kids in and out and the dog it would be nice to clean as we go, as I have a house proud wife..
