Loch Lomond Holiday Park

Gostou Lovely wide pitches surrounded by 4ft hedges to give you privacy. There was no touring caravans in front of us as the residential one were below us and we had a hedge but even with that the views were stunning. The shop had a variety of goods you may need or have forgotten. I think the nearest big shops are in Balloch which is about 25mins away.

Não gostou The road from Tarbet to the park is somewhat challenging as very narrow with bends and lots of trucks. There were only 2 toilets and one shower per sex. As there are 14 pitches, I imagine in the summer there may be a queue although there is an extra shower in the reception area. There was also no TV signal and we don’t have freesat. They did have WiFi (you have to pay for this) and as we had a smart tv then we managed to connect to that and get some channels. The water pressure was very low so took ages to fill up the water container.

Gostou Everything. The views…STUNNING! The family room….FANTASTIC! The toilet/showers…clean and tidy, shower a little hot, but did the job. Washing up facilities perfect! Shop onsite had all the essentials, although we didn’t need anything. Absolutely wonderful place and would 100% stay again!

Gostou Wir waren für eine Nacht im Oktober mit unserem Wohnmobil zu Gast. Der Camping Platz liegt direkt am Loch Lomond und hatten eine wunderschöne Sicht auf den See. Der Stellplatz an sich ist echt top und mit kleinen Bäumen umgeben, damit man für sich ist. Das Personal ist super lieb und der Check In war unglaublich unkompliziert. Die Sanitäranlagen sind ebenfalls gut ausgestattet und sauber. Würden aufjedenfall gerne wieder herkommen!!! :)

Não gostou WLAN kostet leider, aber immerhin gibt es welches. (Kostet nur £3 pro 24/H)

Gostou Great facilities, pitches were perfect, facilities were spotlessly clean. Area was beautiful and we were very lucky with the weather.
Staff were lovely and helped.
We loved it so much we have booked again.

Gostou Nice n easy to find pitch have warm toilets n showers nice site great views of the loch stayed 4 times nows nice stop over fully serviced pitch and this time probably because time of year 20 a night stayed sept 30th

Gostou Close to the Loch, good sized pitches. Lovely views.
Staff on site friendly and helpful.

Gostou Unfortunately we arrived a day earlier than planned. Phoned up and asked if there was any chance if we could move our paid leave one day forward. Before I could say anything else I was informed that they were fully booked and that wouldn’t be an option. The place didn’t look that busy so we went online and there was still 3 pitches available for that day for Motorhomes that we could have booked there and then if we wanted too but because she lied we decided to go elsewhere and give someone else our money!

Não gostou The next day when we should have gone to this site we decided to go home instead, as we were at the end of our tour and she had left a bitter taste in my mouth. Check in was from 2pm still 5pm. It was only at 5:40pm when we received an email for the gate entrance code to get in. Every other place that we had been to in the last 3 weeks had been amazing. So I can’t give feedback on the actual place and its amenities .

Since reading your review, I have personally checked our availability for the date in question. I can confirm there were no pitches available, and our receptionist was not lying. We are unsure why the system appeared to show spaces online at that moment, but I can assure you there was no actual availability to move your booking forward by a day.
It’s also important to note that, even if there had been space, moving a booking forward is not something we are normally able to do. Exceptions can occasionally be made in truly exceptional circumstances, but this was not the case here.
I understand how this may have caused frustration, and I appreciate you raising it so we can continue to monitor both our booking system and communication to ensure clarity for guests.
