Park Farm Campsite is a wildlife haven - it's part of an organic dairy farm spread over 250 acres of peaceful Wiltshire countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Royal Wootton Bassett. A stay here will give you something of a glimpse into proper farming life: around 120 cows are milked twice daily, and you’ll be able to see them and a small herd of Belted Galloway beef cows going about their life in the neighbouring fields. A small flock of chickens live here too, so you can buy fresh eggs on site for a fab farm-style breakfast. A small flock of chickens live here too, and there's a small honesty shop where you can pick up eggs, local jams, farm-made apple juice, marshmallows and other treats. Plus, fresh takeaway pizzas are served most evenings. There’s only a handful of pitches at this peaceful site, so you should have plenty of space in which to relax and unwind while looking out over the rural views (sunrises are particularly fine around here if you can haul yourselves out of bed in time). If you’d prefer to take in the scenery on the move, take a wander along the footpaths around the farm and out into the surrounding woods or pedal off along National Cycle Route 254, which runs past the site. Looking a little further afield, it’s a drive of around 15 minutes to the historic town of Malmesbury and the edge of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (a place of many lovely things to see and do). Facilities on site are pretty simple, with three compost loos, one urinal and two gas-heated showers. A covered hand basin and washing-up area are available too, and here you can also pick up some local info and maps. A local pub is three miles away if you fancy an evening out.

Gostou Lovely campsite, beautiful views, great facilities, lovely owners!
Beautiful, just about the right size campsite, very eco-friendly with little tuck shop (farm eggs, apple juice, jams) on site! Fire pits available for free, large bag of wood 🪵 for £10. Hot water in showers, clean eco toilets!

Gostou Our stay was only for 1 night and we didn't manage to take full advantage to walk around the farm but a very well equipped camp site. Wasn't quite sure where to go on entry but found someone to direct us.
Has an extension plug to help charge items, some honesty box items like jam, apple juice, honey.
Toilets and showers, sinks had hot water.
Books to borrow and a fridge.

Not sure if the site does have WiFi.
I have unlimited data so didnt think to check.

I would definitely go back though and hope too next year.

Não gostou No eggs! Did make us a little sad as we genuinely expected to see some fresh eggs available. I know the season starts to drop off now but we're still paying customers. Sept 2025.

The toilets did smell. I cant remember if thats a norm for campsites.

Gostou Quiet site, nice clean facilities and the owner was lovely and came round to ask if we needed logs for a fire in the early evening. Honesty shop was a nice touch and we enjoyed some apple juice from apples they had grown. Close to lots of walks if you like that kind of thing and easy to get to and find.

Não gostou Thought the animals on the farm would be closer but nevermind!

Gostou We absolutely loved our stay at this eco campsite – it’s the kind of place that makes you want to ditch the WiFi and actually talk to each other (I know, terrifying but surprisingly enjoyable). Everything here is back-to-basics in the best way: wide open pitches with plenty of breathing room, a relaxed family feel, and views so good you’ll forget to check your phone.

The fire pits are a brilliant touch – nothing says “perfect evening” quite like toasting marshmallows while pretending you could survive in the wild. Ours crackled away for days (the marshmallows lasted about five minutes).

Despite being stripped back, the facilities are spot-on: toilets and showers are clean and well-kept, and the washing-up area makes camp life easy rather than a chore. The honesty pantry is a real gem too – like having a tiny campsite shop where you can grab essentials (or treats) without the guilt of a full-blown supermarket dash.

It’s rare to find somewhere that feels so chilled yet so well looked after. The large pitches mean you’re not elbow-to-elbow with your neighbours, and the whole place has a welcoming, unhurried vibe – the perfect reset button.

We left with smoky clothes, happy bellies, and big smiles… already planning our next visit.

What a site. Loads of room, beautiful views, fantastic walks and cycling routes, hot showers, composting toilets, a communal power supply and freezer for essential phone charging and ice packs AND an honesty shop with fresh eggs and jams and fire kits for the free firepits for a night time warm.
Amazing vibes and lovely friendly hosts
Best site of our 500 mile round trip from North Wales to the South coast.
