The Paddock

Gostou: Really lovely small site which we took our caravan to for a two night stay so we could explore Glastonbury which was about 10min drive away. Lovely welcome from Neil who also gave us advice on planning our trip to climb the Glastonbury Tor. Perfect for families with a communal seating area and a nice relaxed feel. Felt very safe for our 6yr old to play and use the facilities etc independently which he loved! Two nice showers with toilets in the same room, always clean and tidy when we used them. Few mins walk from a nice local pub which served lovely food.

Não gostou: Disliked is a strong word but it was quite tightly packed so maybe one or two less pitches would mean a bit more space. Also somewhere for grey water disposal would be useful.

Gostou: Lovely camping space, in a beautiful spot with a great host. Neil went above and beyond to make our stay even better. Even opening wine for us when our corkscrew broke! It was very peaceful too, highly recommend.

Não gostou: More toilets needed but in process of building more.

Gostou: We loved everything about campsite: amazing location, close to Street and Glastonbury, but quiet site; fantastic facilities that was clean all the time ; attentive host who is always asked how is everything; attention to details with decorations and lights. Loved it!

Gostou: Lovely clean site, quiet with flat pitches. Sheltered by trees and hedges. Showers warm and toilet always spotless. Picnic tables available for use. Small freezer for communal use. Stock of ice-creams, lolly pops and cold drinks which could be purchased for a very reasonable price. Friendly and helpful hosts. Would recommend and would definitely visit again. Close to Street and Glastonbury.

Gostou: The Paddock is to notch, small campsite. It's level, the ground is perfect and well mown. Pitches are laid out clearly and the site has everything. Loos and showers are immaculate and the showers are really lively to use. Everything has been thought of and is right sized for the site. Very Highly recommended.

Gostou: Absolutely loved this beautiful little camp site. The manager ( Neil) was very polite and hospitable. We had nothing to worry about, they even had a barbecue area with a tiki bar 👍👍

Não gostou: Didn’t dislike anything how ever food for thought maybe ad a few more toilets xxx

Gostou: Just returned from a lovely 4 night stay at The Paddock with our 2 young children. Greeted on arrival by Neil the manager who was very friendly and welcoming. The site was lovely and flat for our tent and felt safe and secure. The toilet and shower facilities were kept immaculate throughout our stay. The kids particularly enjoyed the ‘Paddock hub’ spending each evening for hours playing in there. Great location for getting to where we had planned to visit which were Glastonbury Town & Tor, Cheddar Gorge & Wells city. Neil and his wife were great hosts and had great knowledge on the local area and very easy to talk to. We hope to return next year to Somerset and will not hesitate to book The Paddock!

Gostou: A very warm and friendly welcome to a well equipped clean beautiful and private site. Facilities were superb - with clean toilets and showers, washing up area and drinking water. Great to have the availability of fire pits and also allows for BBQ’s so we could all enjoy the outdoor cooking vibe. Neil / Noel was exceptionally welcoming & make us feel at home and at ease, even helping us out in times of desperation when we realised we had left vital items at home aka lighters, corkscrews and a table - without which we would not have been able to eat our planned BBQ and drink our lovely wine. #whenisatablenotatable Thank you Noel. Nearby pub is the typical local country pub with great food, good choice of beverage, live music and a wonderful character feel about the place. The links via a local bus service is super handy especially if travelling to local areas such as Street or Glastonbury. Highly recommend The Paddock and we definitely plan to return - even if just to chew the cud with Neil/Noel

Gostou: Friendly welcome from Neil and laid back atmosphere. Fairly small site with picnic benches, grass area in the middle and converted horsebox for the kids to play in. Toilets / showers, cleaning and waste really clean - maybe need another toilet or two.
