Gostou: The peaceful location, the tranquil scenary and the anemities were beautifully clean and easily accessible. Tom was very helpful and the site is kept really well maintained. 10/10 for Tom and his team for giving us a lovely relaxing weekend. The pub served lovely food and resinable prices, and the local farm shop just up the road is well worth the visit. You can walk for miles and I love that the site is dog friendly and no under 18s allowed. It just gives it that little extra special feel when you haven't got young kids running around and screaming. The Cider Barn is well worth a visit.

Gostou: Lovely quite site. Great facilities and very clean. Tom was very helpful. Friendly people. Pub was excellent and food was top notch and reasonable. Highly recommend this site and we will definitely revisit.

Gostou: Small site, clean toilets, peaceful.

Não gostou: Mouldy shower cubicles. Having to open the heavy gate, which was not very sturdy, and let ourselves in, the site manager disappeared never to be seen again, maybe from the sign on the office door " gone shopping" is where he nipped off to, but the notice was on his office door 24/7. Not being allowed to wash dishes after 8pm, I am on holiday, and would like to wash up when I feel like it, 10pm would be a good cut off time. Paying for the shower, this should be included in the cost of the pitch. Would be nice if some local information was on the piece of paper handed to you on arrival, for instance, walks in the area, we found out from another camper, just opposite the pub, there is a lovely walk up a very steep hill, where you have the most amazing views from the top of the Mendip hills, it was so peaceful. You can buy strawberries ,cream and scones just along from the pub. I m sure there is more see by walking from the site. Would I go there again, NO.

Gostou: Perfect location for both Wells and Cheddar. This site is small and quiet and right next door to a nice pub. The toilets are very clean and easily accessible. We had a nice weekend apart from the showers.

Não gostou: The ladies showers are poor as the water isn't even a trickle out of the shower head. This was very disappointing . Also the grass on the pitches isn't maintained.

Do gerente: Thank you for your comments. Our plumber has had a look at the water pressure in the ladies showers, so we're surprised that this was an issue for you. We will ask him to take another look as we understand the importance of the showers being fully functional.

Gostou: We loved the easy going nature of the Site. Tom was excellent at accomodatng our needs. The car caused us an issue so we arrived late. Tom was brilliant. we love the setting, quiet, we loved the walking the pub next door and the situation midway between Wells and Cheddar it made for a lovely post Easter Break, nice showers and facilties, so much improved from our last vist ( 15 years ago! Thank you

Gostou: Clean site, pitches clean and in good condition, hook up accessible close by. Very clean shower block and toilets, central location, very close to Wells, Cheddar, and Weston Super Mare, pub onsite was fantastic but I understand not owned by the campsite. Food was lovely! Staff were very friendly and very helpful, reasonably price food.

Não gostou: Locked gate to get in the site was on its last legs, understand the site owners wanted to keep shower block clean, but no shoes! Far too many rules! This is an adult site. Although the shower block was clean, not enough cubicles or toilets, on entry a sign stated you had to take your shoes off to enter, which we thought was a bit strange really, Only one sink to wash up dishes, which was locked at 8.30PM prompt. No shop or basic stuff like milk, bread etc on site. We decided to visit a place on way up and didn’t arrive till mid afternoon, during which time was sent a rather curt email stating that if we didn’t arrive by 6pm we would not get in. We knew the last entry time as this was on the booking, so did not appreciate the tone of the email!
