Gostou Good value for money, great facilities Lido and indoor swimming pool clubs bars and kids playground including scare park also near Brean Leasure Park

Não gostou As a disabled customer I found the walking a bit too much as it was 0.8 miles from where we parked to the entrance of the swimming pool/Brean Leisure Park slightly Less for the Lido. It would have been nice to be able to have either free or paid transportation from a point in the park though out the day rather than just from 17:00-19:50

Gostou The facilities for the children were amazing. It really is a child's dream.
There was so much to do, we couldn't fit everything in.

Não gostou The touring field is not well kept at all. Litter everywhere, bins overflowing so seagulls were ripping into bags of rubbish.
The toilet/shower block was disgusting. Thankfully we used our own in our caravan, but when we I had to take my daughter while setting up there were dirty nappies on the floor and even a pair of soiled knickers!

We used the lido on one of our days and as lovely as it is I do feel like they let too many people in compared to the size of the pool.

Gostou So much to do there for the little ones, love the outdoors swimming pool. One kids had so much fun there and want to go back. It help it was sunny . There fairground was a good price and lots if ride for the little one to go on.

Não gostou If you got allergies that's not a lot of selection of food you can have in entertainment and swimming area has you not alot to bring food in
We was camping, so it would be nice if the toilet block was and bit cleaning. And have security going around a bit more to deal with loud people after 10 o'clock

Não gostou Lack of room on touring pitches. Everything was an extra cost even disabled parking to get closer to the main area. The golf buggies were horrendous & shouldn’t be allowed to go so fast.

Gostou The facilities and entertainment for families are excellent.
Everything is surprisingly reasonably priced for a british campsite.

Não gostou The camping area is 1 mile from the pool and bars, walking that a few times a day with kids is a real pain and obviously we can't drive if we've had a drink so it would be nice if the train ran regularly and on time, even if there was a small charge.
Having to pay £5 for parking at the pool area when we've already paid to be on site is a bit of a pisstake.

Gostou Great entertainment for the kids. Site was mostly clean with the exception of dog poo here and there, but that's down to the dogs owners. Some toilet and shower locks needed replacing. I definitely recommend it.

Não gostou Very surprised at how expensive the Internet was. As overseas visitors with 4 phones between us it was going to cost ridiculous money to use the Internet and had to rely on international roaming.

Gostou We were the only foreign visitors at the campsite, but it was surprisingly easy to figure out all the practical arrangements. The information provided was clear and easy to understand, and the pitch we were allocated fully met our expectations. The toilet facilities were also good, and there were plenty of them for all guests.

Não gostou The biggest downside was unfortunately the cleanliness and the general maintenance of the site. We came across cotton buds, old balloons and plastic litter in several areas. Directly in front of our pitch was a small stream that was unfortunately filled with old rubbish. I assume that much of it has been blown there over time, but it still left a poor impression. Overall, it did not feel as though enough was being done to keep the area clean and inviting.

The toilet buildings were functional, but they looked quite dated and would benefit from some refurbishment. The dishwashing facilities were also less than ideal. Only one of the four taps worked satisfactorily, while the other three required you to keep the button pressed continuously to maintain the water flow. Once again, this gave the impression of facilities that are in need of maintenance.

The camping area itself was essentially a large grassy field. More trees, bushes and green spaces would make the site feel much more welcoming while also providing some shelter from the wind, which is often quite strong in this part of England.

We were also surprised by how reserved the English guests generally were. It was not easy to strike up conversations with other campers. Of course, this is not something the campsite can be held responsible for, but organised activities such as bingo, quiz nights or activities for children might help create more of a sense of community and make the stay even more enjoyable.

Gostou Lovely site enjoyed the forest, and campfire. Deffo be back soon.

Não gostou The chickens was abit annoying when eating etc, nicking our food 😂but it’s their home 😁
