Gostou: The size of the pitch

Não gostou: Shop was really expensive, I know inflation and all that but the mark up was high, the pitch we were on in the area aren't really looking their best, I know it's countryside etc but at 5am being woken by the crows nesting in the trees above and branches falling on the roof of the caravan wasn't a very relaxing peaceful get away.
The toilet block is dated and the locks could be replaced, one toilet actually moved when sat on !!!
The kids went to the pool but didn't stay long as they said it was heaving so couldn't enjoy it.
I completely get we went at a busy time of year but think it just needs a bit of TLC

Gostou: Leaving

Não gostou: Pitches are a gravel carpark, every time a vehicle goes past you are covered on a cloud of dust, pitch slopes in 2 directions

Gostou: Super clean and tidy site with very friendly staff. The showers were lovely and added bonus of a heated towel rail!! Lovely little walk for our 3 dogs right on the campsite so could stretch their legs first thing before heading out for the day. Would highly recommend this campsite.

Não gostou: Ground on gravel was very hard so had to move in order to put our awning up.

Gostou: Exit road

Não gostou: Car parked on our pitch, directed to another caravan on pitch, told we had to wait for people to return despite numerous empty pitches ! No hot water in dish wash despite hot water stickers ! Not a great stay

Gostou: Stayed on a touring pitch at Golden Coast Leisure Park — really impressed. Facilities were clean and well looked after, pitch has its own water supply and hard standing which we find a lot cleaner than grass...

Loads to do on site even on rainy days, entertainment great for little ones.

Location’s spot on for getting around. Loved having a selection of places to eat and drink on site....

Não gostou: It was noisy a couple of nights until about midnight, and as a few others have said, the touring pitches felt more like a car park - could do with some more privacy & love but overal we had a great stay.
