Gostou The pool area, the soft play, the location, the variety of activities

Não gostou The slope but I guess that's normal (?), the bathroom facilities but that might just be me and not liking communal bathing areas, and the late night noise from some of the people there.

Gostou The area was well looked after, the outside Pool was one of the highlights of the holiday for us, the other was playing Bingo (which is cash only) in the Granary.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant

Food and drink was nice but expensive for what it is (one round of two alcoholic drinks and two J2Os over £18.00)

Overall entertainment was good it’s more aimed at pre-teens but lots of different activities throughout the day, some free of charge like the Pool party and other activities were chargeable such as axe throwing £12.00 per person.

Não gostou The tent was on a slight slope like many others across the site.

The largest negative for us with two teenagers was the WiFi. Although it states that it has free WiFi, depending on your location it’s sporadic at the best of times, unable to stream, unable to watch social media, unable to game.

In certain parts of the site the phone signal was poor. Both cellar and internet calling.

Gostou We loved our break here!
The outdoor swimming pool was lovely and we had the good weather to use it. Everything was kept nice and clean! Great value for money!

Gostou We loved the location and how easy it was to get about in our 7.5m motor home. Day trips were plentiful. The dog field was brilliant as was the woodland walks. Showers had loads of hot water and I loved the facility of mop and squeegee to ensure the cubicle was clear. Pool was beautiful on some of our hot days and the staff were beyond lovely and friendly. Loads going on most days.

Não gostou Unfortunately some campers didn’t quite keep to site etiquette. Possibly some more reminders about cleaning showers after use and policing of noise after 11 for large groups especially. A large group of 5 different campers were placed by us and they used our pitch as a cut through to each other which I didn’t like - maybe put some thought into the placement of large groups if accepting them?

Gostou Wonderful family friendly campsite. Has everything you need from shops to a pool and even entertainment a restaurant and take away. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and all seemed to really enjoy their jobs interacting with the kids smiling and waving. We will definitely be back.

Gostou Staff very friendly, wide range of activities for the kids on offer (although you have to book them quick! Limited spaces and book up quickly). The evening entertainment was perfect for the kids. Good location for visiting beaches/activities etc. Overall really enjoyed our stay!

Não gostou Toilet/shower blocks are a little dated but clean (can get messy at busy times)
Pitches are very close together which made parking the caravan tricky but doable.

Gostou Meal in the Hayloft was really tasty and nice

Pitches we (2 families) were allocated were really steep, I think we should have been pre warned as to how steep they were.
We were told we would be on 2 pitches together, well we weren't.
We were camping so unable to level beds, tables, chairs etc so everything was on a slope, which was rubbish as kept sliding off the bed.

If you want to take part in bingo or evening entertainment you have to scrabble for seating, there's not enough tables or chairs.

Gostou Good sized pitches. Spacious and clean toilets and showers. Large field for dogs and dog friendly bar areas. Friendly and helpful staff

Não gostou WiFi and phone signal not great. No other dislikes.

Gostou Very nice Camping site. We booked non electric tent pitch as a family of 4. I think we got lucky as we got the pitch #1 which was backed onto a fence and we only had one neighbouring tent with plenty of space in front. Indoor and Outdoor pool are very nice, outdoor pool was free to use anytime during opening hours which kids loved. Entertainment was on every evening. There is Arcades for the kids and playground, where they can meet new friends. Toilets and Showers were decent. Toilets seemed to have been fairly newly refurbished, plenty of showers! Nicely kept and looked after campsite. Overall very nice stay for us.

Não gostou Prices of the drinks in the bar and Granary are rather steep for my taste. Playground could do with lighting as kids played there until dark. I understand you don't want to encourage kids to stay in the playground too long, but the light can be on a timer, say goes off at 10pm? There was quite a party couple of nights where small group of campers did not really care about anyone else in the camp, even though quiet hours are 10pm - 7am. Wifi is patchy at best...
