Great Kellow Farm

Gostou Excellent communication from site, with clear instructions on how to get there , what is essential for those driving large vehicles, follow these instructions and your arrival will be straight forward and stress free.
The site is well maintained and we had great sea views,
The town is 1/2 mile down the lane , but not for the unfit , it is a steep hill, so some might require a taxi back , but in fairness I’m 60 and my wife has a dodgy hip , but we still managed to do both ways 3 times.
Greatly enjoyed our stay , 🙂👍

Gostou Stayed in one of the static caravans.
Had everything we could have wished for. From towels to bedding to large fridge/freezer.
Shower was great and so was the toilet block.

Não gostou Really need a taxi both ways as the hill would be brutal to walk.
That said taxis were excellent at £7 per journey

Gostou Walking distance to town, although I'd get a cab back if you're not very fit as it's uphill, shower block 10/10, owners friendly and their steaks are great

Gostou Spacious and Friendly, toilets were clean and well maintained. I especially liked that the toilet block naturally catered for families.

Gostou Clean and friendly site overlooking the sea. Walked down into Polperro ( not for the faint hearted)…as you’ve gotta get up the hill again!
All good, nothing bad

Gostou The view was astounding, the showers, toilets and kitchenette areas were spotless. Working farm which was wonderful, half hour walk into polperro (not for the faint hearted if walking back up Cardiac Hill!!) excellent place to wind down and relax, dog friendly. Even the sheep wanted to say hello!! Loved it here and would definitely come again.
The owner sends you directions to follow as opposed to the sat nav. Follow them!! We walked the way the sat nav would've directed you and if you are in anything bigger than a car you have no chance. There are lots of tight country roads (as you would expect) but plenty of passing places.
Taxi rode into Looe. We used chariots of hire… dog friendly and reasonably priced.

Não gostou The only negative I could find was the electric pitches facing the sea were too close to each other, the pitches that run along the sides of the field have more space between.

Gostou Nice relaxed site , quick walk into polperro, although lane back up to Great Kellow is a bit steep. But loved the site and location .

Não gostou Closeness of pitches. Being in a tent and having tourers either side with awnings, it felt like they were dominant. One side arrived after me and I drove back from a trip when they were setting up. They wanted me to move my car to put their extended high windbreaker the length of their long vehicle. If I had been in a touring vehicle and wanted the same awning/windbreaker, we would never have fitted in that space.

Gostou Showers were spacious and really good. Quiet campsite on a working farm.

Gostou Lovely stay, level pitches and choice of where to stay. Facilities looked clean and well maintained. Signs showing a map of the site and where drinking water was which was very helpful. Greeted when I arrived. Great stay and value for money.
