Gostou: Location

Não gostou: Noise- The site clearly states no dogs, however directly next to our pitch was a campervan with a small dog inside that was left for 5 hours and continually barking into the night, this went on until midnight! Not to mention to shouting as the clubhouse kicked out, not recommended at all for families. Lights- We stayed in a tent, a canvas tent, the fact that a bright lamppost directly next to us stayed active again until post midnight was completely idiotic, it was like having a torch shined in your face non stop. Very annoying Rude Staff- Upon requesting to park a second vehicle on our pitch without infringing on any other pitches at all, as we had plenty of space, a staff never proceeded to threaten a wheel clamp and 150£ fine! A straight No you cannot would’ve been far more polite to us as a paying customer! Manners go along way. Would not recommend and we will not be returning again.

Gostou: Very clean site. Friendly staff. Also the prices in the bar were very reasonable.

Não gostou: Only the shower didn't stay on long so had to keep pressing the button.

Gostou: We spent nearly a week in our VW camper, it was a new experience at TRENCREEK, the site ticked all our boxes as campers, found lovely clean toilet facilities, hot showers, well planned washing up and toilet waste areas, we found it lovely and quiet at the far end of the site near the ponds, from our arrival we felt confident that we had chosen a great place, lady on reception was informative and helpful.............we stay in Cornwall regularly to visit our family there and have has mixed experiences, the weather being so kind helped greatly but we are already looking the calendar for our next stay and hope to bring extended family who would use the pool and other facilities, we prefer to keep ourselves to ourselves but the site appears to cater for the needs of all ages, great find :)

Gostou: This is our first time camping properly, the flatness of the pitch where we set up our tent. The first time we slept not on a slope for the entire week! The toilets were clean, spacious and easily accessible. They had a heated pool too, and they give you a pack with things to do in the area!

Não gostou: It's a 30 min walk into Newquay, which is fine but the last bus back is quite early so it would have cut our day very short, and it's uphill back!

Gostou: Well maintained.

Não gostou: Management / Reception. Came as 3 seperate parties but at the same time, and were positioned almost opposite ends of the site from one-another. We spent some time trying to negotiate different pitches so we could be closer together due to us all having young children, but it was a no. The lady actually picked up her order book and waved it at me, stating look how busy we are….a little patronising. We accepted this, and started setting up.. then were told she had given us the wrong pitches, and we all had to move. We were then closer to each other, but not right next to each other. However, during the 3 nights we stayed, we observed how the site was about 50-60% occupied. And there were several areas that had at least 3 pitches (one area had about 6) next to each other for the whole time. Just felt they could have been a little more accommodating to our requests.

Gostou: Really nice, site,very clean. Lovely outdoor pool. Very friendly

Não gostou: That the shop wasn't open all the time and everything on the site was cash only.

Gostou: The entire site is amazing, from the minute we drive in we felt very welcomed. It was relaxed, peaceful and extremely well looked after. Toilets and shower block were spot. Wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

Não gostou: Showers & taps only last less than 2sec when taps are pressed & nowhere to put your stuff when showering. Grass clippings stick to your feet when it rains / damp . No Phone service & it’s a con to pay for Wi-Fi when you are a paying to stay . & cash only who carry’s cash now days

Gostou: Quiet surroundings, shower washing, toilet area very clean. Large pitch and site was not crowded, booked in easily . Not too far from town .
