Gostou Rural, quiet simplicity. Clean facilities and enough space to move around in the shower. Plenty of space for children to run around and play.

Gostou This was an absolute lovely campsite, the owners were lovely, the staff that worked in the bar were all extreme polite and welcoming. The food was absolutely unreal, highly recommend kebab night, roast dinners and the ribs! My husband (who is very hard to please) said it was the best ribs he's ever had. We always camp with our friends, so me and my best friend decided to try the afternoon tea one afternoon and it was absolutely stunning!
This is a really lovely place!

Não gostou The only downside which is minute is the showers are very very hot and you can't control the temperature. For the adults it was fine but some of the kids in our group struggled.

Gostou Lovely site with a fantastic bar, restaurant and shop. We made very good use of the pool table! Various special evenings and events were very enjoyable especially the artisan fair with local vendors.

Lots of accommodation options, everything from tent pitches right up to the lodges but we were on a hard standing electric pitch with grass. Really loved having the sheep in the field behind (shout out to Meryl Sheep!)

Worth noting that we couldn't have managed without a car on this trip, not a criticism however - we liked how out of the way the farm was from everything (plus shop on site had essentials!)

Não gostou Bathroom facilities are ok - water was always hot and the team clearly worked hard to keep areas clean but with only 1 hook in each shower cubicle it was very difficult to keep clothes/towels/belongings dry. Adding a shelf or a small bench would solve this issue.

Gostou Hosts we're absolutely fantastic, staff was all friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Showers were hot and facilities clean. Views are absolutely stunning from this place. So relaxing and calm we even had chance to do a little fishing whilst there. We are 100% going back next year

Não gostou The lack of organisation, no one heated us or showed us where the toilet block was or shower. They never explained the layout of the farm, the shower block water was boiling you couldn’t change the temperature so kids couldn’t shower.
There was a tent that had 2 dogs that were never on a lead and chased out kids al day

Gostou Lovely setting, very peaceful and fantastic views. The chalet was excellent, very cosy and nicely furnished and the beds and sofa were comfy. Kitchen well stocked with utensils/pots and pans etc.

There is a a big picnic bench outside perfect for eating outside.

Não gostou There weren’t any recycling bins at the campsite, but I suppose that’s a council issue.
