Kitts Campsite

Gostou: Lovely host, I was made to feel very welcome. Was very quiet on the first night and I had one of the fields to myself but I felt perfectly safe, second night was busy but pitches are spaced quite far apart so it felt less busy than it was. Internet connection is hit and miss but that was not an issue for me. Fire pits ready to use on each pit and clean loos and showers. Great walks and places to explore nearby. Very dog friendly too. Great place would definitely return.

Gostou: Everything. This is a great campsite, under new ownership. We had such a warm welcome from Davy on arrival. We got a superb pitch surrounded by bluebells, a great rope swing (which kept our 8 year old entertained for hours) and lovely peaceful countryside. Brilliant fire pits included and you can buy wood on site/ they deliver to your pitch. Great facilities too. It was a hot day when we arrived and Davy even drove round and offered ice pops which was a lovely gesture too! We have a dog who had an awesome time too. Lots of friendly guests on site and pitches are spread out over three different fields.

Two brilliant walks directly out of the campsite, one to the sloop inn (which was great for drinks in the sunshine) and one walk all the way to Sheffield park stream museum. Which was also past a great little brewery / taproom overlooking fields.

Gostou: The site was absolutely beautiful, with trees to separate areas and bluebells as our view. We were all thoughtfully spaced out, no overcrowding which was wonderful! Great facilities, very clean with hot showers and flushing loos. Also appreciated the separate male / female loos / showers. Really enjoyed the curry on the Saturday night, the food was very authentic. We will definitely return! Thanks Claire and Davy.

Gostou: Lovely campsite on a mostly flat levelled area.. Toilets were clean and well maintained. Davy who looks after the site was also very friendly and helpful as well. Would certainly recommend Kitts campsite.

Não gostou: Mobile data is slow but works ,but may be just with my ee network

Gostou: Lots of space, very clean and welcoming, fire pits, food tent.

Não gostou: Slightly worried about the safety of young children around the pond if unsupervised by parents.

Gostou: Fantastic site. We were welcomed on site by a lovely guy who directed us to available pitches and sold us a really good basket of wood for the fire pits (which are provided free of charge at each pitch).

Pitches are really big and so you don't feel cramped at all. Facilities very clean and just what we needed.

Beautiful walk on alltrails that starts at the campsite showing some of the beautiful countryside surrounding.

Will definitely be returning and bringing friends with us.

Gostou: Such lovely site, friendly and helpful owners. Walks through beautiful bluebell woodland to the Tap Room which made great pizza. Glad under new management.

Não gostou: Nothing really. Hot water not great at washing up area.

Gostou: Massive pitch sizes with lots of space between pitches. Whole site is surrounded by woodland. Absolutely stunning. Very accessible. Beautiful drive to get there. Clean showers and clean toilets which always had toilet paper. Firewood delivery to your pitch every evening. Could hear owls at night which was such a treat! Really great communication from owners both before and during our stay. Just an all round amazing campsite . Will definitely be coming back to stay again!!

Gostou: Such a great campsite, I was welcomed immediately on arrival and made to feel very welcome. The site is really well kept with so many great pitches to choose from, and plenty of firepits to go around. The toilets were very clean and tidy and water points are located around the site. The location is stunning, surrounded by tree's and woods. There are some nice public footpaths through the nearby forest. There is a heritage railway nearby too which adds a nice back drop hearing the steam engines and their whistles in the distance. You can see a lot of stars on an evening, not much light pollution around. Will definitely be coming back!

Gostou: Flat, well drained pitches. Plenty of space - I was the only person there!
