Springbok Campsite

Gostou self managed, spacious pitches, small site and not too busy, it has most of the facilities we needed, there are sheeps right next to the pitches and also a fishing lake with a lot of fish, will bring a net and mat next time, my daughter had a lovely time.

Não gostou shower cubicle is a little dated but does the job.

Gostou Spacious pitches. Set in 260 acres of parkland with plenty of walks.

Não gostou Small shop on site would be great if it opened a bit earlier than 11.30

Gostou Glorious, peaceful and spacious setting with an abundance of beautiful woodland walks, very welcoming and helpful staff (all retired seafarers) and very dog friendly. All essential amenities, nothing flashy, no kids playgrounds etc but ideal for relaxation and appreciation of surroundings and that’s why it suited us. We’ll definitely come back for a longer stay.

Gostou OMG what a find. The views are amazing. It's so peaceful. The facilities are great. Pitch was lovely. Great dog walks nearby.

Gostou Spacious pitch. Lovely views of the Estate. Fishing lake a plus. Social club was very welcoming. Walks in the nearby woods were pleasant. Friendly staff.

Não gostou Could do with a better mat when stepping out of the shower. The shoot at the Estate on the Sunday was noisy. Weren’t aware it was going to happen. The Japanese gardens weren’t brilliant!

We do appreciate your feedback regarding the shower mat and will certainly look into this. we are sorry for any disturbance caused by the shoot on the estate; these are held fortnightly and we understand that it can be unexpected. I am hoping that you meant the Japanese gardens were brilliant as they are looking amazing! :O)

Gostou Our 2nd visit. Lovely site with spacious pitches and great walks from the site. Walked to a great pub in Alford Barr which can be accessed through the Springbok estate.

Não gostou Sink water was cold in ladies shower room although shower was piping hot !

Gostou Area beautiful full of walking trails and locally within a mile fantastic public house that does great food and a farm shop and cafe

The pitches were spacious so felt I could have had my awning up plus more room
The toilet and shower block v clean but only one shower and two toilets so if busy this would be a problem.

Staff at the social club/ shop were v friendly and helpful as were the ex seafaring residents
