Gostou: Pizzas were great as was the coffee hut for drinks and snacks. Coffee itself was excellent! Animals and overall site was nice, everyone staying was very friendly. Great location too Some nice touches in the Shepherds hut like the welcome bits which the kids loved.

Não gostou: We stayed in the Shepherd’s hut which is shown as having a king sized bed and a double. The double futon is barely a single which wasn’t even big enough for our 7 and 5 year olds to share so we ended up with one adult in the king with both children and one adult on the futon. Not enough crockery in hut, only 1 bowl between 4 for example. Site could also do with better signage, we had lots of people come to the Shepherds hut when trying to check in! Issues with the toilets during our stay with only 2 out of 6 of the flushing toilets working

Gostou: Very nice site, well spaced out and clearly marked pitches. There were toilet, shower and washing-up facilities on site, these could on occasion be a bit iffy which is the only reason we'd say 4 stars. Fresh handmade pizzas were available Fridays and Saturdays, we made use of this the night that we arrived and they were lovely - there is also a small cafe providing hot drinks and food during the day, although this wasn't open every day during our stay, presumably because it was very quiet this week. There were some farm animals on site too, which was nice, but there is a cockerel which was crowing from early in the morning and throughout most of the day - some of us were disturbed by it in the morning but some weren't. There are nice walks locally, and a pub that is walkable. It's not too far from towns like Whitstable and Faversham as well. We met James and Robyn, both were very friendly and helpful. We camped in a tent on an electric pitch, but there were also non-electric grass pitches, hard-standing pitches, and a little lodge to stay in. They also offer the opportunity to rent a camper van in partnership with another company, which gives you the opportunity to try one before you buy. James was also telling us about the plans for the site, which sound really good.

Não gostou: - occasionally hit-and-miss showers - no light in the washing-up area - toilets could do with a bit of TLC

Gostou: A lovely little campsite, felt very safe for children to explore, animals were well loved, staff were friendly, pizza was delicious

Não gostou: Not keen on the cockerel at 4am
