Gostou Loved how chilled everything was. I think there’s massive potential for it to become one of the best places around, but it definitely needs a lot of TLC and investment in the site.
The man with the long hair was really friendly and seemed to be everywhere! He was the only one who really seemed to be working incredibly hard.
The kids’ play area and golf were both great and definitely added to the experience. With a bit more investment and some TLC, I think this place could be absolutely brilliant.

Não gostou My wife wasn’t a fan of the shower blocks. They’re quite run down at the moment, but they have so, so much potential and could be really good with some investment and TLC.
The bar staff didn’t seem to have much experience and, at times, it felt like the bar was being run by teenagers. A bit more training and experience would definitely make a difference.
The noise from the gym was probably the biggest downside for us. From Friday and throughout Saturday, all we could hear was “boom, boom” from the music. It sounded like the gym is probably one of the main money-makers for the site, which is great, but I think with a bit of investment into the facilities and perhaps some consideration around the noise, this could be a really great site.
Overall, there’s definitely a lot of potential here — it just needs some investment and TLC to bring it out.

Não gostou Shabby toilets & showers which in places are dangerous . Floor rotting away.
Initially the facilities were an absolute disgrace & had not been cleaned.
If we had had a choice we wound not gave stayed.
Dirty shower curtains
Also a lot of litter.
Having lodged my complaint with reception they were extremely proactive in remedying what they could.
Toilets & showers cleaned up. New shower curtains installed (in ladies only)
Litter picked up.

Gostou This was our 2nd stay here and it was really lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, pretty walks and great restaurant and pub. I really liked the the live music on the Saturday night. The resort has a welcoming and friendly vibe.

Não gostou Only thing that was disappointing was the lack of hand drying facilities, hand dryers didnt work in any of the ladies toilets and no hand towels.

Gostou Nothing

Não gostou No shop on site even though it says there is. Bar and restaurant very confusing how they operate. Had a car parked right opposite the gate out of the pitch area so was a really big struggle to get out almost damaging the caravan toilet and shower not very clean. Tried to use the disabled toilet but it was like a swimming pool inside. Lack of water taps without having to walk some distance

Gostou Absolutely brilliant weekend, great facilities, lovely bar, great pizza,( that I can't remember ordering or eating 😋)
Staff very helpful and friendly, and the sun was shining 🌞lovely walks around the lake and the woods.

Gostou We have been to the venue two times before and were expecting a lot more than what we got.

Não gostou we paid the full price for a peak time pitch and all that goes with it including the bar food the pizza bar and entertainment. there was no entertainment until possibly one at the weekend the food and the drink and ,we couldn’t use the bar after 6 o’clock. We appreciate that the main season is finished but if that’s the case and all that was advertised was not available why was we charged the full price. we didn’t even stay for the first night because it was so boring. And lonely

Gostou We come every summer and the children loved the new park.

Não gostou I couldn’t believe how much litter there was around the play park and empty alcohol packaging etc and cigarette ends everywhere.

Staff are quite rude.

The bin men were very early on the Tuesday morning and they are doing building work quite close to where the tent pitches are and can hear them swearing at each other which is off putting, we packed up and left at 8.

Gostou Showers impeccably clean, lots of space around pitches, great park area and wooded area for the children to play in.
We had the field pretty much to ourselves and wasn't very busy at all.
Could hear the monkeys in the evening from Markwell zoo which was great

Não gostou Would have been nice to have a bit more information about the local area and things to do in reception. There were lots of restaurant ideas but no days out, maybe there just wasn't much around the area. Recommend the Winchester Science Museum was a great day out for everyone.
Pitch and putt was a bit pricey especially with one hole out of order.
Also had building work going on next to site, thankfully we weren't around camp during the day and they were gone by the time we got home. Wake up at 8am want great tho!
