Bell Tent Glamping at Marwell Resort

Gostou: The Tent was perfect. As a first time camper, the acoomodation was amazing and above any expectation. The ablution facilites was clean and kept clean regularly.

It was a great relaxing weekend and we are looking forward to doing this again.

Gostou: Lovely size bell tent with comfortable mattresses. Clean and fresh with sone lovely added extras. We loved having our own picnic table and BBQ.

Gostou: The bathrooms are really well maintained and clean. The showers were warm.
The mattresses are comfy and the heater in the tent a massive bonus.
The kitchen area had pretty much everything you could need.
It’s a short very pretty drive to Winchester.

Não gostou: The muddy kitchen area. The kitchen area is bonus and great for making breakfast and a cuppa. But apart from a small section deck the rest of the kitchen tent is grass. It rained heavily and the grass area became very muddy.
The activities are expensive.

Gostou: Loved our single night stay here. The owners are lovely and the whole setup here has such a home feeling. I can’t wait to return for a much longer stay.

Gostou: Very family friendly site, with really clean shower and toilet block. Great play area for kids and good to have a restaurant and bar on site.
Location also excellent for day trips to Marwell zoo.
Fantastic activities on site, but they are expensive which is a shame.

Não gostou: Bell tent was quite smelly and had mildew on the inside walls of the tent. I know it has been a damp summer, but not sure how well the tent had been getting aired.
The Kitchen tent, had basic equipment, but didn't have veg pealers, or small sharp knives, or any cafetieres - not a complaint, but useful to know in advance.
Fellow campers were not great at cleaning up after themselves, so cooker stove was dirty, dirty spoons had been used for the sugar and lids left off tea jar. Been glamping and camping before and first time I have encountered this.

Gostou: Loved the facilties available and all staff were so friendly.
Food at the site was great (a bit expensive)

Não gostou: I would not call the bell tents and area as "glamping" Toilets and showers are shared with all campers (not just bell tent area) same with the toilets.
No mirrors in the glampsite or hairdryers
No sink available other than two fields away
No spoons, had to use forks for tea and coffee.
Just mattresses on the floor in the tent (have to bring your own quilts and pillows)
